There are beautiful stories in the Bible, and there are ugly ones. There are beautiful people in the Bible, and there are ugly ones. Sometimes they are the same ones. David was a handsome man, and a beautiful person inside

and out when he starred in the David and Goliath story, but what an ugly person he became in that not so beautiful adultery scene he starred in with Bathsheba. Ruth had an inner beauty, and Jeze-bel, though no doubt possessing outwardly a decked-out beauty, was an ugly woman. The Bible speaks of a “Chosen Lady” in I John:

“The elder to the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in truth;” 2 John 1:1 NASB Ever wonder who that woman was? The Bible speaks of a not-so-chosen and beautiful woman in Revela-tion Chapters 17 and 18: “and upon her forehead a name was written, a mystery, “BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered greatly.” Revelation 17:5-7 NASB Ever wonder who she is? There is a good reason to know in light of the ever increasing “Day of the Lord” wrath and judgment that is picking up like birth pangs. Knowing could save your life and allow you to enter the coming New Age the Bible speaks of (Hebrews 6:5). To know who she is and her ugly story, one needs to know The Greatest Love Story Never Told. It involves the chosen lady and an aspect of God’s love few know about. Perhaps the reason is that it is so personal and pri-vate, intimate and tragic that He has not allowed just any-one and everyone to know. (You can order the book and tapes or CD’s for $20.00) The story involves the romantic aspect of love that few think of God having, having for His “Chosen Lady.” You see, His “Chosen” is Israel. (True Israel, not the counterfeit, anti-Christ, devil-worshiping Jews of today, the false-prophets-called preachers point to and call “God’s chosen people.”) “For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but because the LORD loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefa-thers, the LORD brought you out by a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth gen-eration with those who love Him and keep His commandments;” Deuteronomy 7:6-10 NASB It’s not that God does not love His creation and the many races in His creation. It’s like this. A man loves his wife. It’s not that he hates another mans wife. Fact is, he can love another man’s wife as a Chris-tian sister, but his special romantic love is to be only for his wife, and her love for him is only to be for him, her husband. Most do not know God married Israel. When Israel had a civil dispute over taxes and split, there became two nations, the House of Israel and the House of Judah. God was married to both, and both be-came whores (harlots, prostitutes--different translations use different terms). Let us briefly review what we preached in the four sermons and book concerning The Greatest Love Story Never Told. God divorced the House of Israel and cast her off.

“And I saw that for all the adulteries of faithless Israel, I had sent her away and given her a writ of di-vorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear; but she went and was a harlot also. And it came about be-cause of the lightness of her harlotry, that she polluted the land and committed adultery with stones and trees. And yet in spite of all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to Me with all her heart, but rather in de-ception, declares the LORD.” Jeremiah 3:8-10 NASB Hosea was the prophet God used to warn of the impending divorce. Fact is, He had Hosea marry a whore so he could preach with feeling how God felt concerning His own whoring wife, the House of Israel. In Hosea 2:19-20, God made a promise to the whoring, cast-off and divorced House of Israel that someday He would again betroth her to Him. They did not know how this was possible, since the very Law of God forbade a man from remarrying his divorced, whor-ing wife. “When a man takes a wife and marries her, and

it happens that she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out from his house, and she leaves his house and goes and becomes another man’s wife, and if the latter husband turns against her and writes her a

certificate of divorce and puts in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter husband dies who took her to be his wife, then her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her again to be his wife, since she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the LORD, and you shall not bring sin on the land which the LORD your God gives you as an inheritance. Deuteronomy 24:1-4 NASB When Jesus returned, He made it clear He came for her.

Fact is, He had Hosea marry a whore so he could preach with feeling how God felt concern-ing His own whoring wife, the House of Israel.

But He answered and said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 15:24 The One who died on the cross, put there by the very one He loved and came for, was in fact the Great I Am in the flesh, i.e. the hus-band of Israel. His death freed her from the Law. “Or do you not know, brethren (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives? For the married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is living; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concern-ing the husband. So then if, while her husband is living, she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free form the law, so that she is not an adulteress, though she is joined to another man. Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, that you might e joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, that we might bear fruit for God. For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit fro death. But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that y which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.” Romans 7:1-6 NASB It’s a Romeo and Juliet love story, for when she real-ized her Love had died, she took her own life and died via repentance, which is dying to self. When she did (repented) and was buried in baptism (Romans 6:4) she was raised a new person with all her sins washed away. Thus she was again betrothed to the One who loved her. “I wish that you would ear with me in a little foolishness; but indeed you are bearing with me. For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, that to Christ I might pre-sent you as a pure virgin.” 2 Corinthians 11:1-2 NASB That’s a brief synopsis of The Greatest Love Story Never Told and it is a beautiful story. Now for the not so beautiful story. The story about a not-so beautiful woman. The whore of Babylon in Revelation 17 and 18. The writer of this article has always referred to that woman as a system or order that is out of order with God.

Her priorities were first, her on top, and then gold, etc, with human life at the bottom (Revelation 18:12-13). That all may be par-tially right, but it is not right on, for Babylon is more of a “who” than a “what”. But who is she? Where did she come from? As we try to figure out this prophesy in Revelation Chapters 17 and 18 we see she is a woman. “And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, ‘Come here, I shall show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality, and those who swell on the earth were made drunk with the wine of her immorality.’ And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet east, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality, and upon her forehead a name was written, a mystery, “BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMI-NATIONS OF THE EARTH.” And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered greatly. And the angel said to me, ‘Why do you wonder? I shall tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.’” Revelation 17:1-7 NASB We see she is an enemy of God and His Kingdom with the blood of the saints dripping from her ruby red lips. She is immoral and decked out as a party girl: “drunk with the wine of her immorality,” “Clothed in purple and scarlet” and “adorned with gold, precious stones and pearls.” We see she is wealthy and is going to lose her wealth rapidly. “For in one hour such great wealth has been laid waste! And every shipmaster and every passenger and sailor, and as many as make their living by the sea, stood at a distance,” Revelation 18:16-17 NASB One thing that is obvious about her that most do not see is that she is married. Now, it may not be all that much of a legitimate mar-riage, but she is married, because she boasts she will never become a widow. The only way to become a widow is to lose a husband.

“To the degree that she glorified herself and lived sensuously, to the same degree give her torment and mourning; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen and I am not a widow, and will never see mourn-ing.’” Revelation 18:7 NASB We are not told who she is married to, but we are told she whores around, which tells us some about the husband. There are such pimp type husbands that approve, promote and profit off a whoring wife. Here is an aspect about her we have missed. It is seen in Revela-tion 18:2 “And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! And she has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird.” Revelation 18:2 NASB This writer always thought the “Fallen, fallen” was dealing with the fall of Babylon, for the whole of Chapter 18 is about the Judgment that will come upon her and bring her down, but it is that she herself is a “fallen woman.” “Fallen woman” is a term that used to describe virtuous women who became sinful. Songs have been written of such, from “I Didn’t know God Made Honky-Tonk Angels” to the old Willie Nelson hit “Angel Flying too Close to the Ground”. Revelation 18:2 bears this out, for it says she is full of demons and unclean spirits. Paul tells us that in the last days (end of an age) some would give heed to seducing spirits and demons and FALL AWAY FROM THE FAITH. “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,” 1 Timothy 4:1-2 NASB All this would tell us she wasn’t always the way she is, for de-mons and evil spirits make people change and become something or someone they once were not. This brings us to a point about her that most have not thought about. She was once a pure virgin. All whores were once pure virgins. Maybe she was once a virtuous woman or even someone’s virtuous wife who was seduced into the whoring life style. Wives are known to become whoring harlots!

“Therefore, thus says the LORD, ‘Your wife will become a har-lot in the city,” Amos 7:17NASB This presently happens all the time in America. The wife com-mits adultery, moves in with her new lover who supposedly meets her emotional needs, and gets paid for the whoredom. The one who pays is her ex-husband, in the form of alimony and child support. She of course does not think of herself as doing any wrong—the fact is, she’ll blame her ex-husband for driving her away, etc, etc. “This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth, and says, “I have done no wrong.” Proverbs 30:20 NASB So much for the “who” aspect of the one called Babylon. Now for the “what.” She is also referred to as a “city.” “And the woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.” Revelation 17:18 NASB “Standing at a distance because of the fear of her torment, say-ing, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’” Revelation 18:10 As we ponder this aspect of Bible prophesy about her, we need to understand that in Bible terminology a city can also represent a land, a people and a nation. The term ‘Babylon’ for the old Babylon in the Old Testament is used just this way. It sometimes is the capital city of the nation of Babylon i.e. the land where the Babylonians lived. The same is true for the prophetic city called Jerusalem in the Bible. Zechariah Chapter 2 describes a prophetic Jerusalem which is in actuality a land of unwalled villages, full of cattle and people. “I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. Then said I,’ Whither goest thou?’ And he said unto me, to measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, and said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:” Zechariah 2:1-4 KJV

Note in that prophecy that Jerusalem is also called Zion and she has been taken captive by another prophetic city called Babylon. “Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.” Zechariah 2:7 KJV This city of Babylon in Revelation 17 and 18 is a bloody city and is powerful and sits on many peoples and nations. And he said to me, "The waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. Revelation 17:15 SO WHO IS SHE? The answer to that question is the sequel to The Greatest Love Story Never Told. Let’s go back to that story where we left off. “For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, that to Christ I might present you as a pure vir-gin.” 2 Corinthians 11:2 NASB Sad to say, but in that story they did not live happily ever after. “For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin. But I am afraid, lest as the serpent deceived Eve y his craftiness, your minds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:2-3 NASB Satan and his children and the evil spirits and demons seduced the Lord’s bride. She left her Husband and took satan as her Baal hus-band and master. She fell from the faith to the dark side of life. You see, that whorish woman Babylon is the Lord’s fallen wife. She is the prophesied city that became a harlot. “How the faithful city has become a harlot, she who was full of justice! Righteousness once lodged in her, but now murderers.” Isaiah 1:21 NASB Now you know the “Rest of the Story!” You see, the description of the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31:10 is a description of the Lord’s bride, His help meet. You see, Israel is His servant people, meant to be a blessing to the rest of the world. She was to do her husband good all the days of her life.


“An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life.” Proverbs 31:10 NASB Just as satan seduced and deceived Adam’s wife, so he did the Lord’s wife as well, the House of Israel and the House of Judah, and thus it has happened His enemy has come from His own house-hold. “And a man’s enemies will be the members of his house-hold.” Matthew 10:36 NASB “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” Matthew 10:36 KJV It is for him as it is for many a man of God, as prophesied in Micah 7:5-6 “Do not trust in a neighbor; do not have confidence in a friend. From her who lies in your bosom guard your lips. For son treats father contemptuously, daughter rises up against her mother, daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his how household.” Micah 7:5-6 NASB Few appreciate or care concerning the hurt and pain our Lord Himself has suffered in this love story. He was hurt by her when, in

days gone by, she left Him for another. “Then those of you who escape will remember Me among the nations to which they will be carried captive, how I have been hurt by their adulterous hearts which turned away from Me, and by their eyes, which

played the harlot after their idols; and they will loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they

have committed, for all their abomination. Then they will know that I am the LORD; I have not said in vain that I would inflict this disaster on them.” Ezekiel 6:9-10 NASB He did not divorce Judah but He wrathfully and severely judged and punished her for her unfaithfulness when He used Baby-lon to strike her. He used Ezekiel as His prophet in that day, and Eze-kiel called Jerusalem the “bloody city.” “And speak a parable to the rebellious house, and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Put on the pot, put it on, and also pour water in it; Put in it the pieces, every good piece, the thigh, and


the shoulder; fill it with choice bones. Take the choicest of the flock, and also pile wood under the pot. Make it boil vigorously also seethe its ones in it.” Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, “Woe to the boldly city, to the pot in which there is rust and whose rust has not gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece, without making a choice. For her blood is in her midst; she placed it on the bare rock; she did not pour it on the ground to cover it with dust. That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have put her blood on the bare rock, that it may not be covered.” Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, “Woe to the bloody city! I also shall make the pile great.” Ezekiel 24:3-9 NASB The very day He had her struck with His judgment was the very day He took Ezekiel’s wife from him. “And the word of the LORD came to me saying, ‘Son of man, behold, I am about to take from you the desire of your eyes with a blow; but you shall not mourn, and you shall not weep, and your tears shall not come. Groan silently; make no mourning for the dead. Because He wanted His prophet to know how He felt and hurt when He had to do what He had to do to His once faithful, chosen love of His life. It also kept Ezekiel from rejoicing to see her get what she deserved. All he could do was mourn silently and privately. For in one hour your judgment has come.’” Revelation 18:4-11 NASB In the sequel to the Greatest Love Story, after God made the new covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah (Hebrews 8:8), He brought His peo-ple to a new promised land, i.e. the North American Con-tinent. They came for the Kingdom of Christ and the ad-vancement of the Christian faith (read the Mayflower Compact). Their nation became a Christian nation (as the Supreme Court has ruled on three occasions). She sent missionaries to the world and was the Lord’s help meet and servant with her Christian philosophy; but she fell away. She became an abomination. She was seduced, deceived. Her people are whores. A whore does what she does because it pays. The people vote for those who pay them the biggest Socialist, Communist hog-slop benefits. She sacrifices her children on satan’s abortion alters, and her surviving children’s future to the demons (and her pleasure), as was prophesied. “They sacrificed to demons who were not God, to gods whom they have not known, new gods who came lately, whom your fathers did not dread. You neglected the Rock who begot you, and forgot the God who gave you birth.” Deuteronomy 32:17-18 NASB “...and served their idols, which became a snare to them. They even sacrificed their sons and their daugh-ters to the demons, and shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with the blood. Thus they became unclean in their practices, and played the harlot in their deeds.” Psalms 106:36-39


She oppressively sits her fat ass on the many waters with her powerful military invading and occupying other countries, (America presently occu-pies a multitude of foreign nations with her military force) and her people sing “I’m proud to be an American.” In all this the whore preachers say nothing, least their pimping, paying con-gregations fire them. The people don’t want to hear the truth, and they hire preachers who accommodate what they want. “Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!” declares the LORD.” Jeremiah 23:1-2 NASB “But if they had stood in My council, then they would have announced My words to My people, and would have turned them back from their evil way and from the evil of their deeds.” Jeremiah 23:22 NASB God will save America again, but in the process will destroy the present whore, the city, the system. It won’t be a complete de-struction, for He has held back a seed stock who have not bowed to Baal. “And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel, ‘Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that will be saved; for the Lord will execute His word upon the earth, thoroughly and quickly.’ And just as Isaiah foretold, ‘Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left to us a posterity, we would have become as Sodom, and would have resembled Gomorrah.’” Romans 9:27-29 NASB There will remain those betrothed to Him, and the beautiful marriage will take place, and that love story that so few know will have a beautiful ending. “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quite, until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, and her salvation like a torch that is burning. And the na-tions will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; and you will be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD will des-ignate. You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. It will no longer be said


to you, “Forsaken,” nor to your land will it any longer be said, “Desolate”; but you will be called, “My delight is in her, “ and your land, “Married”; for the LORD delights in you, and to Him your land will be married. Imprecatory Prayer for February CURRENT ISSUE: How long before God pours out His judgment and wrath?

In war the rule is simple. It is simply kill or be killed. In

the spiritual warfare that is and has been raging, it is basically no different, except physical weapons of warfare like guns, tanks, planes, etc. are not employed. Satan’s side has been doing what Jesus said the enemy does. “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy” (emphasis added). The present day killing is done in such a diabolical way that the victims do not perceive it and thus does not resist. Satan, as well as his children, delight in it. You have lived luxuriously on the earth and led a life of wanton pleasure; you have fat-tened your hearts in a day of slaughter. You have condemned and put to death the righteous man; he does not resist you. James 5:5-6 The few (i.e., the remnant) Christian soldiers that have not had their minds taken captive (Colossians 2:8) and poisoned by the leaven of the serpent Pharisees (Matthew 16:6) hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 6:6), and it is only right and just for the killers to pay the penalty God has prescribed for murder, and for the afflicters to be afflicted themselves with an eye-for-an-eye affliction. Their crimes must be brought before the Judge if it is to stop, and our hunger and thirst for righteousness is to be satisfied. How long will this go on? That question is asked by those who cry out for the Judgment and Vengeance of God to fall upon those who have taken their lives and are yet upon the earth.

And when He broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the al-tar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, wilt Thou refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" And there was given to

each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow ser-vants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, should be completed also. Revelation 6:9-11 A partial answer to the “how long” question was given. Once the blood level has been reached, which could be now. Now the saints are to cry out for righteous, just Judgment for the de-stroyers to be themselves destroyed.

…and the outcry of those who did the harvesting has reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. You have lived luxuri-ously on the earth and led a life of wanton pleasure; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter. You have condemned and put to death the righteous man; he does not resist you.

James 5:4-6 But for Thy sake we are killed all day long; We are con-

sidered as sheep to be slaughtered. Arouse Thyself, why dost Thou sleep, O Lord? Awake, do not reject us forever. Why dost Thou hide Thy face, And forget our affliction and our oppression? For our soul has sunk down into the dust; Our body cleaves to the earth. Rise up, be our help, And redeem us for the sake of Thy lovingkindness. Psalm 44:22-26 We know that the prayers of the saints move the hand of God. Let us pray that He will pour out His Spirit upon all the house of Israel and bring us to repentance; hastening the time of His avenging Judgment. PREPARATORY PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, many Scriptures make it clear that Your actions are influenced by the attitude and lifestyle of Your people. We also understand that the prayers of the right-eous move You to action.

We ask You to forgive our slothful and indifferent atti-tudes. We have often taken the position that “What will be---Will be”. We know that is not true.

Open our understanding and help us to recognize our par-ticipation in Your Kingdom has great influence on the timing of Your action.

Cleanse us from every sin. Pour out Your Spirit upon us. Empower us with mighty faith and motivate us to become a pow-erful Remnant who spreads the call to repentance with a flaming zeal of evangelism. Cover us with the protection of the Holy Ar-mor and Your Awesome Power and Protection as we confess and repent of our known and unknown sin and enter You, our Rock.

We pray in the name of Jesus, our conquering King. Amen. IMPRECATORY PRAYER:

Almighty God, we come to You now in intercessory prayer for the whole house of Israel. Help us to feel the anguish of those who wait before Your throne. We recognize that the sins of Your people can delay the great “Day of the Lord” and the out-pouring of Your avenging wrath.

Acknowledge our cry for a fierce and powerful move of Your Spirit upon our land. Instill a great urgency in the heart of all who will repent and turn to righteousness. Renew an awesome fear of God within the hearts of Your people. Demonstrate Your power to preserve Your own. Remove the scales from their eyes so that they can see the resulting fruit of their ungodly ways.

We rebuke and bind the evil deceivers who have blinded the eyes of Your people. Curse those who have shed the blood of Your saints. As a God of Vengeance, arise and bring a swift end to their reign of terror.

Heap upon them the prophesied agony of their actions a thousand fold. Stretch forth Your great arm of Judgment upon all who dare to torture or to kill or to torment those who acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Redeemer. Destroy them forthright, without mercy and let all the earth know that the God of Israel yet lives. We pray in the name of Jesus, the great Judge of all evil. Amen.
