An effect is what happens.
The cause is the girl swings the club and hits the ball.
The effect is the ball moves.
The reason an author writes a story is called
Author’s Purpose.
Authors may write to be funny or to entertain readers.
Authors may write to explain something or give information.
The order that events take place
is called Sequence. Words like first, next and last
help readers figure out the order of events. Good readers
pay attention to the order in which things happen.
First put the meat and cheese on the bread.
Next close the sandwich.Last eat the sandwich.
