For duplex opening, removeknockout plate shown bystriking from the backside of the base trimin indicated area withchannel lock pliers.
For Triplex opening afterremovingduplex, remove theremaining knockout plate bystriking from the back side ofthe base trim in the indicatedarea with the channel lockpliers.
NOTE: If knockoutplate does not fullydisengage, grasp platewith pliers from frontside and gently moveback and forth tocomplete removal.
