MEALS MINISTRY:
Lori’s co-workers would like to
help her with meals for the next

co-workers to be a blessing to her. In the mean time, we can
concentrate on prayers for a minimal surgery with a small amount of
radiation. After the surgery, more meal will be needed so look for
the sign-up sheet in the kitchen for the Meals Ministry supporting
The Hodulik Family. Meals are only needed on MON, WED, &
FRI; delivered by 5:30pm. Their address is: 48103 Newport Bridge
Pl., Indio; 760-775-4174.

Debbie and I regret not being with you this week. We saw the picture
Mike Young put on Facebook of his car recording 126 degree temperature. My
daughters say they are wilting in 110+ temperatures in Banning. On the other
hand, Debbie and I are suffering on the Coast of Northern California, Oregon
and Washington with temperatures reaching the high 80’s. We’ve needed the
sweater a time or two. Let me rephrase my opening statement: Debbie and I
miss you but we have no regret that we are not with you.
One such location we visited is Glass Beach. Glass Beach was formed
from the waste of Fort Brag, CA dumped into the ocean from 1906 – 1967.
Dumping trash into the ocean was common for seaside communities in the
early 20th Century. Disgusting, isn’t it? But God did an amazing thing. He
took those broken bottles and glass shards and cleaned them smooth with salt
and sand and then sent them back to the shore for people to collect and make
jewelry.
God does the same with our wasted sinful lives. He polishes them over
a period of time and then gives them back to bless others. No matter how bro-
ken or destroyed things may be for you, God can cleanse them with the blood
of Christ and present you prepared as a bride for her husband, radiantly beauti-
ful. Have you ever seen an ugly bride? You never will. That’s how beautiful
God makes our shattered lives. 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 (NIV)
16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once
regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.17 Therefore, if anyone is in
Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here

Mateo 7:13-14
Yo soy tu hermano Gilberto.........
