As we reflect on the goodness of God, and how abundantly God has blessed Baptist Grove Church

with both spiritual and numerical growth, we are elated to celebrate Rev. Bankole Akinbinu and

the First Family and 7 years of stellar leadership as Pastor of this church! We honor Pastor

Akinbinu and his wife, Lady Angel Akinbinu.

Have you ever given thought to all Pastor Akinbinu does?

• Hours in prayer and study to be able to preach and teach in a way that is clear, relevant and

powerful

• Being “on-call” day and night for members in crisis

• Constantly reflecting on where we are as a church and strategizing to keep us on God’s trajec-

tory

All of these things can be a great weight at times, so we look forward to celebrate Pastor

Akinbinu and Lady Angel, who ministers by his side, might also feel the weight of our apprecia-

tion and be encouraged. Scripture tells us that the Pastor is a gift to the Church: “Now these are

the gifts Christ gave to the Church: the apostle, the prophets, the evangelists and the Pastors and

Teachers.” (Ephesians 4:11) Let’s celebrate the gift that Pastor Akinbinu is to us!
