Every PV plant is different. Each era has its own state-of-art technology. On top of that, the demands placed on solar power plants change over the years. This is why SMA’s service con-cept does not rely on fi xed contracts, but on fl exible solutions.

Would you like to be responsible for certain maintenance services yourself? Or would you rather be able to pass off all repair jobs to qualifi ed specialists? Do you have employees that maintain your PV plant, or is an availability gua-rantee important to you?
With the Sunny Central service con-cept, you have the fl exibility to select only the services you need – over a long-term period. Select an individual service, a combination of services, or the all-inclusive service package. You decide which service modules you se-lect – now or later.

We carry out servicing every two years according to the maintenance plan; la-bor costs and material costs are all in-clusive.* Our specialists test and main-tain your plant on site – which means that you can enjoy the good feeling of being safe in the knowledge that you are protected from unexpected failures and, as a result, additional costs.

Our Sunny Central inverters are ext-remely reliable. However, our techno-logy can only provide you with many years of enjoyment with the proper maintenance. This will ensure the high-est level of operational safety and mini-mize downtime.

DIAGNOSTICS + REPAIRCompetent support on site

With the Diagnostics + Repair module, all your service requirements will be taken care of, because with this modu-le, you pass on responsibility to SMA for diagnosing the failure and taking care of all repairs, i.e. fi rst and second level support. In other words, we take care of all the necessary measures.
If something does end up going wrong, we will be there if you need us. You can count on the fact that our specia-lists are always up-to-date on the latest technology and know your plant inside and out; and thanks to remote access our service technicians can obtain an accurate diagnostic report and plan the repair accordingly.

In addition to an excellent maintenance, spare parts, and repair service, we also offer an additional option: we will pro-vide you with a fi nancial guarantee to protect against any losses when using our service modules to ensure that your inverter remains available*.
You can choose a guarantee of either 98 or 99 percent availability. SMA will compensate you for any difference between actual availability and the se-

You have planned and installed a PV plant with Sunny Central inverters. You now want to operate the plant for two years with our support, and then sell it to an investor. Your employees will be responsible for maintenance during this period. Since your client has a high security requirement, we recommend extending the scope of the service agreements after two years.

FAQ An overview of the most important questions and answers
What contract periods can I select?
For the Maintenance and Inverter Availability modules: 5, 10, 15, or 20 years from the date of commissioning. For the Spare Parts Guarantee and Diagnostics + Repair modules: 10, 15, or 20 years from the date of commis-sioning.
Can I extend the period of my contract?
Yes, you can extend your contract pe-riod for the individual modules to the maximum available period (20 years) once during the fi rst 10 years after commissioning.
What are the requirements for purchasing the InverterAvailability module?
The Inverter Availability modules can be selected in combination with the standard factory warranty and the Spa-re Parts Guarantee and Diagnostics + Repair modules.
How long can I wait before purchasing a service module?
The Maintenance module can be purchased at any time. All other mo-dules can be purchased at any time during the standard factory warranty period, as long as maintenance has been carried out at the stipulated intervals prior to purchasing and can be verifi ed on the basis of the mainte-nance reports.
