While ServiceNow offers an effective web service solution for incoming integrations, sometimes clients would like to leverage their own pre-‐existing web service WSDL to integrate with ServiceNow. OPPORTUNITY
The requirement is a ServiceNow web service that leverages a pre-‐existing custom WSDL provided by a customer, referred to as a static WSDL.
SOLUTIONS
Contender Solutions has developed an integration that allows an external application to create records into ServiceNow by way of a pre-‐existing custom web service WSDL. The integration uses the existing operations defined by the custom WSDL and not only creates/updates a ServiceNow record, but also provides a custom SOAP response with the necessary information for the sender.
