MATCH Challenge your child by asking them to name all of the Premiership Rugby teams. Can they state where in England they are based? Ask your child to research where each Premiership Rugby club is based. They should plot the clubs on a map of England and produce a key to highlight each club. Ask your child, Where are most of the clubs situated? Discuss the locations of different teams. Using a pencil and a ruler, ask your child to measure the distance between the different clubs. COOL DOWN Discuss with your child the concept of a local derby. Ask your child why they think derbys are so important. EXAMPLE An iPad with relevant app: Pencil and Paper Ruler OR...
