Exercise: Assessment• Assessment of extent to which the 25 national

policies and measures are being implemented: • Participants will be divided into

geographical/regional groups and will be asked to assess the extent to which the 25 national policies and measures are being implemented in their countries.

• This will be done through a brainstorming and scoring system.

• The participants will also be asked to identify the five priority measures/actions for their country based on the assessment using a voting system.

• This exercise will take 30minutes

Exercise: Develop Action planExercise: 3.3 Based on the outcomes of the

assessment exercise (3.2 ) participants are required to develop an action plan for implementing the five top priorities. The plan should cover what is to be done, when, by whom and with what (see exercise handout)
