ACHIEVE FREEDOM FROM PAINLESSON GUIDE:

by M

Yulo

This module is not about having a “pain-free” life, this module focuses on the value of pain, what meanings we connect and associate with it, and how we can utilize pain to achieve what we want.

NO PAIN, NO GAIN!

But since there are only 2 things we do in life, do what makes us happy and avoid what cuases pain, activities then will include creative visualization and writing, connecting massive pain and regret for not changing now and balance it with connecting massive happines to the decision of changing now.

OUR OBJECTIVES AT THE END OF THE MODULE, is that you will…

a. Be more than willing to push though and embrace lesser pain, the GOOD

PAIN (e.g. discipline, training, delaying gratification, rejection, failure, swallowing one’s pride) to move away from greater pain, the UGLY PAIN (The PAIN OF REGRET).

b. Be more than willing to turn away from lesser pleasures (comfort zone) to move towards greater pleasure (success and purpose in GFI).

c. Be able to use your mind more effectively in facilitating oneself by imagining UGLY situations as a result of neglect, procrastination, complacency, safety, giving up as the easiest thing to do, comfort, pride and learning and getting motivation from it rather than waiting for them to actually happen in reality, by being able to ask themselves hard, scary questions.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PAIN FREE LIFE. PAIN wILL ALwAYS BE A PART OF OUR LIVES, AS LONG AS wE ARE LIVING ONT

THIS EARTH wE wILL ExPERIENCE PAIN.

Page 2: SESSION 4: UNBOUND, FREE TO ACHIEVE

I learned that there are 2 things we do in life:

A. DO wHAT MAkES US HAPPY

B. AVOID wHAT CAUSES PAIN

As kids growing up, we experience lots of pain, that hard created permanent beliefs in us, and that internal ystem of rocessing pain we take with us until we grow older. (e.g. kids hand burned from stove or iron will permanently imprint in our minds.

“DO NOT TOUCH, OR YOU’LL GET BURNED,”

This tells us what?

THAT PAIN IS A GOOD TEACHER.

There is also pain that tells you

“BEAR wITH ME NOw, AND GET MASSIVE PLEASURE

REwARDS LATER”

Following the principle

“NO PAIN, NO GAIN.”

There are many who already understand this because they have already experienced massive pain in their lives and decided to avoid such pain again resulting to ones increase in thresh hold to pain, connected to their desire to never experience it gain. This is learning from experience.

But what of people who have not experienced such pain yet and are currently in their comfort zone?

Comfort zone, can be in a form of pleasure, can be a position of safety, dependence on what one already knows, on oneself only or on others.

without experiencing it yet, how does one learn and grow and achieve from it?

To balance I will ask the students to VISUALIZE and connect so much pleasure and bliss in changing now, accomplishing their dreams, giving the best things in life

this world can offer to their families, having enough time to spend with their loved ones, travel around the world, being an inspiration, being awarded ambassador of the path, people thanking them for changing their lives, being told “well done my good and faithful servant” by the creator. I will ask them, to write down this situations and list down what lesser pleasures they are deciding to delay or avoid, to achieve them.

THE SECRET OF SUCCESS IS LEARNING

HOw TO USE PAIN AND PLEASURE INSTEAD OF

HAVING PAIN AND PLEASURE USE YOU. IF YOU DO THAT, YOU’RE IN CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE. IF YOU DON’T, LIFE

CONTROLS YOU.- TONY ROBBINS

This module focuses on the value of freedom and its role in the attainment of success. we many know what we want to achieve (or do we?) at this point, we may have identified empowering beliefs in pursuit of freedom, but the question is – have we really identified our daily action plan to go where we want to go?

This module will utilize the Mind-Map Activity in identifying values, set the situation or condition needed to fulfill values and reveal action steps in achieving what we truly want.

At the end of the module, you will:

A. Identify values connected with fyour freedom of choice.

B. Determine what situation should exist for you to feel they are fulfilling your values.

C. Discover what daily activities you should be doing to fulfill your values.

D. Be able to draw a map to visualize and assess current states.

E. Take action plan and follow through their roadmap.

FREEDOM IN ACHIEVEMENT, ACHIEVEMENT IN FREEDOM

Principles:

what does ACHIEVEMENT truly mean to you? will it CHANGE you?

How does it feel to ACHIEVE a lot of things in life, in spite of all odds and sacrifices?

Is it possible to be successful in all areas of your life?

Are all types of achievements you want to accomplish in line with your life purpose?

This mind map exercise will help you discover and identify steps in the fulfillment of your dreams.

YOU’RE FREE TO ACHIEVE YOUR HEART’S DESIRES AND PASSIONS! EVEN IF THERE’S A ROADMAP OR A MIND MAP, THERE wILL ALwAYS BE ROUGH ROADS ALONG THE wAY. JUST kEEP MOVING AND STOP BLAMING THE PANCAkES!

MIND MAP ACTIVITY: Materials needed: 2 bond papers each student, 2 crayon pencils each

Step 1. List your passions by making a no-holds barred, whatever comes to your mind map. Here’s mine:

Step 2. Identify values by summarizing key themes. For each value or theme, write: “If I had a life filled with _______________, I would…” and brainstorm five answers each.

Step 3. For each theme, ask yourself the question: How will I achieve (value/theme) this? List down your action steps. (Take-home activity)

Merlin Mann’s Resolve: Stop Blaming the Pancake. An excerpt:

No matter how good a cook you are, and no matter how hard you try, the first pancake of the batch always sucks. It comes out burnt or undercooked or weirdly shaped or just oddly inedible and aesthetically displeasing.

…And, like clockwork usually around today or maybe tomorrow–a huge cohort ofthose cooks will begin to abandon their resolve and go back to thinking all their pancakes have to suck. Just because that first one failed.

…Accept that the first pancake will always suck.

Hell, if you’ve never picked up a spatula before, be cool with the fact that your first hundred pancakes might suck. This is, as I’ve said, huge. Failure is the sound of beginning to suck a little less.
