• Accepted ATS on file at COD required in order for COD to accept a TEACH Disbursement– No accepted ATS on file at COD will

cause a disbursement to reject if it is sent too early

– The ATS field is display only; it cannot be updated in EDExpress

• Booking a TEACH Grant– Same as booking a Direct Loan– Three elements need to be accepted at

COD in order to book a TEACH Grant• Accepted Origination Record• Accepted ATS• Accepted First Disbursement Record

– The TEACH Grant Booked Date is the date that DLSS will use to calculate accrued interest if the Grant converts to a loan
