SETTING LISTFrancis Evdokimov

This setting I have chose, which I believe that will come in handy in many of the scenes featured in the trailer. Ross Gibson, when on his search for the missing girl (Isabella) , will need places to search. Not only is he involved in a search for the missing girl but he will be following around people who he believes are the kidnappers. The search for the kidnapper can be done in the park, as shown with the long round down, which can be shot showing Gibson following who he suspects is behind the kidnapping. This can be done with eye-line matches looking back from the perceived kidnapper, but seeing no one behind him. The fact that the suspected kidnapper will be walking down a road in a park, creates an enhanced perception and suspicion of the character being the kidnapper as a park is usually a place where many kids are abducted as well as being vast with many places to hide people. The filming will be based around the winter period, giving the effect when filming of a secretive and closed place, being dark with little light.

AVENUE HOUSE PARK

Continuation…This place within the park I believe will be effective in firstly adding the scare factor as well as being a possible place for theKidnapper to leave the missing child. The building looks gothic and has a sight to it which makes it look creepy and suspicious. This whilst filming doesn't have to be shown in the park, rather filmed as if it was on a road, other wise having a building like this In the park and using it as a hide out for the criminal wouldn't’t work. This can be used also for the final scene in which Gibson Gets very close to the antagonist and it is left at a cliffhanger, the audience not knowing who will defeat the other.

Continuation…This is once more in the same park. An abandoned play ground has something about it which adds a very chilling feeling inside. This could bring back the memory of Isabella whilst his search. We could add the movement of the swings but with no-one using them adding the scare factor. This could merely be a place just to rise the tension in the audience during the high climatic point in which Gibson is close to finding the real kidnapper.

To add to the suspicion, I found a place which shows a continuous inward road into the forest of the same park. Once more if filmed in darker weather conditions, and using the torch prop, could showing the action of Gibson searching for the killer, or the young girl who had been taken. This could once more be used in a scene when Gibson is following who he believes is the abductor of his neighbours daughter. The Fact that the suspected kidnapper is walking into the forest of the park shows there must be something hidden within . It also looks very suspicious and gives the audience the perception that Gibson is following the right man and is on the right track to prove everyone wrong. This setting can add to the darker side of the trailer, as we could see Gibson searching in the dark with a torch, and could at any moment be jump scared or he could find the girl in bad conditions.

Finchley Tube station:Finchley tube station will be part of the trailer, in the first sequence. This is where it will be shot,

showing the arrival of Ross Gibson to his new town. I think this location works as the station does not look urban and can have small amount of people travelling, fitting in with our theme of a small populated and compact town. The station also does not look rural in the sense that it doesn't’t portray the place to be in the country side with vast open land. Here many shots can be taken for the introductory scene, with Gibson stepping out onto the station, and even film inside the carriages. Another idea could be in which Gibson could be following his suspected criminal, only for him to make a swift get away into one of the carriages.

Gibson’s house:Gibson's house will be home to many scenes taken place within the trailer. It starts right off from him travelling towards his new house, to making himself at home and introducing himself to the neighbors. Any house will do to film this as long as it can be used. Other scenes such as being confronted by Frank in his own house, to the police taking him away. Here any watershed moments in Gibson's life will take place within the trailer. The bed room will show Gibson trying to make himself at home, and attempting to start over again in life. All these shots will present a very positive and moving forward times within his life, only for the next day to be accused of kidnapping the neighbors daughter.

Old Police station – Temple fortune :

This location can be used for the interrogation scene, in which the police offers believe and infer the act of kidnapping was done by Gibson. This exact location is of an old police station in temple fortune. This building does stand out to the rest of the smaller buildings around, and therefore portray its high meaning and authority around the area. This therefore could be a good place to film the journey towards the police station and make the trailer look professional as time has been taken to find a location which has previously been a police station. The fact this building will be used may portray the seriousness as well of the crime and how much belief the police already have that they have the right man.
