I actually donated all my rulers and replaced them with Quilters Select Rulers. The new 18x18 helps me square up my quilts, the 8.5x24 is the best for cutting long strips, the 6x12 is great for smaller cuts, and you have to have the Quilters Select mat that goes with it. You can turn the fabric and ruler on the mat without having to walk around the table to do multiple cuts and it even has the 1/8th markings.
