Board of Governors

All employees, including all full and part-time staff, management and faculty are required to undergo annual (calendar year) training on sexual harassment and unlawful discrimination and harassment. This is in support of ESU’s commitment to maintain a working and learning environment that is free from prohibited forms of harassment or bias and to provide our employees with the knowledge and skills needed to fulfill their responsibilities. EEOC Definition of Sexual Harassment

Sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature that:

1. Is a term or condition of

employment2. Is the basis of decisions affecting

the individual’s employment or academics

3. Interferes with individual’s work or performance or creates hostile environment

On Line Training Convenient - Enables you to educate yourself in a

practical, private, and convenient way. Available 24 x 7 -The program uses an active

learning process that does not disrupt your work responsibilities or require you to schedule specific off-site classes.

The online course takes approximately 45 minutes to complete, including the mastery test.

The program produces documentation of when you took the course and successfully completed the test. The Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity will automatically receive confirmation of your successful completion of the online program.
