Dongwha Fibreboard (DFB) >

DFB is a member of the Asian Pacific MDF Exporters Association, and has MDF factories in Nilai and Merbok.The Nilai factory produces 140,000㎥ of MDF annually, while the Merbok factory has the annual output of 220,000㎥ of MDF and 95,000㎥ of MFB. The company uses rubber trees, acacias and tropical trees as raw materials, and manufactures products of diverse specification. DFB exports its products to Middle East, China and Vietnam, as well as domestic market in Malaysia. Founded in May 2007, as a result of Dongwha’s acquisition of Kumpulan Guthrie Bhd.’s subsidiary Guthrie MDF Sdn. Bhd. DMM has the annual production capacity of 130,000㎥ of MDF. Founded in 2001, DCM is Dongwha’s major production base in Malaysia. It manufactures LPM and adhesives using Cal-Polymers from U.S. The company produces 17 million m2 of LPM annually and 75,000 tons of adhesives at its formalin and UFC (Urea Formaldehyde Concentration) factories. VRG Dongwha MDF (VDM) >

VRG Dongwha MDF was established in 2008 by a joint venture between Dongwha International and Vietnam Rubber Group, a state-own conglomerate well-known for its leading role in Vietnam rubber plantation and processing industry which is located in Binh Phuoc, Vietnam in a 39 hectares area. This MDF manufacturing plant is located in Minh Hung Commune which is close to Vietnam’s economic capital Ho Chi Minh City. Raw materials will be mainly Rubber Wood, Acacia Melalecusa, Cashew and Pine supplied by Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh and Dak Nong provinces. VRG Dongwha MDF will be exported as well as meet rising demands for this product on the Vietnam domestic market. This will significantly promote Vietnam’s modernization and industrialization process in wooden industry.

VRG Dongwha MDF has invested US$ 160 million fiberboard project since July 13, 2010. It is the largest and most modern MDF/HDF plant in Asia, equipped with advanced environmental-friendly technology and modern facilities from Germany, Sweden and Finland. This Plant has the annual production capacity of 300,000㎥ MDF.

Dongwha Design Center is located on the 10th floor of its Seoul headquarter in Yeouido, Korea. The Center showcasesflooring products and wall panels as well as the surface patterns of wood processed materials. It consists of the ProductSample Room and four “Trend Zones,” and puts on display the latest products and designs every season. Visitors can haveglimpses of the latest interior design trends suggested by Dongwha.

Creating a Brighter Future for Humans by Developing Eco - Friendly Products

Launched in 1993, as the Technological Development Team, the Center was officially registered as a R&D center in 1997. It conducts research and development in diverse areas, including wood boards, adhesives, surface materials and flooring products. The Center focuses its efforts on the development of eco-friendly products, such as Super EO boards, which emit almost zero formaldehyde, and the nation’s first click-type laminate flooring in Korea, which requires no adhesives for installation. Dongwha’s technological prowess has earned it wide acclaim not only in Korea but all over the world.

”NatureHaus” of Dongwha SFC Housing is a high-end housing brand that seeks to achieve harmony between humans and nature. The cost-effective, environmental friendly and well-designed NatureHaus houses are well-lit and have excellent ventilating, insulating and heat-absorbing features. They are available in diverse styles, from classic to modern.

Dongwha manufactures industrial and processed lumber products from Australian Padita pine trees. Our sawmilling products are made of different parts of the wood logs: from the center heart and heart free fibre to the sapwood and dead wood area.
