In 1980 Shepherd’s Guide was founded in the Baltimore area where 30,000 copies of the very first edition werepublished. The premier Baltimore edition was comprised of 150 advertisers.

In 1981, Shepherd’s Guide expanded to serve The Greater Washington, DC Area. Since our inception, we have served over140 markets throughout the UnitedStates on the mobile app, web and inprint; reaching millions in the localsearch markets.

In 2016, the Shepherd’s Guide corporateoffice was moved to Chesapeake, VAand a Call Center was added as an additionaloption for all Franchisees.

In 2018, the Shepherd’s Guide website hasbeen upgraded to the highest edition levelin order to handle the every increasing webtraffic from the millions of searches in theUnited States.

The Shepherd’s Guide is committed to stayingcurrent in the ever increasing digital worldwith the website, mobile app and social media.
