Strategic Overview

Strategy and Business Model:

Strategy and Business Model: In addition to identifying, and acquiring brands and other intellectual property assets, SGB will provide strategic advisory and general market services aimed at building value within its portfolio companies. The platform will seek to acquire and control intellectual property including the investment in trademarks, licenses and other properties within the public entity.

SGB will either invest in a group that would operate the business directly or license the IP to an existing third party operating company or one developed to operate each vertical business based on the plan. Each investment will be funded through a network of “investment and strategic” partners identified by the platform company, and eventually with the participation of a dedicated business. The operating model for SGB is based on focusing on the front end of the value proposition and to shift the "heavy lifting” to licensees and other strategic partners.
