§  Cofield Enterprise Inc. was instituted in 1997. CEI specializes in building award-winning secure networking systems for a variety of companies and government agencies in a variety of industries in North America and Europe. CEI often gets pulled toward identifying solutions for specific business problems by Government Agencies. CEI patent pending secure card technology architecture marries many areas together to deliver state-of-the art applications to many commercial and governmental industries.

§  SGTN stands for Secure Global Trade Network which was initiated by CEI with specific objectives.

§  SGTN’s purpose & mission include supporting a worldwide community of over 40,000 freight forwarders along with all relevant parties in Trade Services and Supply Chain over 200 countries that connect their customers to one another with electronic trade services. These electronic trade services calls for secured transmission and sharing of millions of messages and documents representing transactions valued at trillions of dollars each day.

§  CEI has partnered with ECS Financials to design and develop SGTN architecture that is expected to address the needs of the players in these transactions through its centralized services supported by reliable and secure messaging capabilities.

§  SGTN is purposed to offer the freight forwarding industry a common platform of advanced technology and access to shared solutions through which members can build its competitive edge.

§  ECS Financials, a New York based Corporation was established in 1999 to provide Architectural Design, Specifications and Solutions in the field of Middleware and Message Based Communication.

§  ECS has played significant roles in Enterprise Message Administration, Application Integration and Transaction Processing for major Financial Companies and Corporations.

§  ECS delivers messaging solutions... NOT middleware development tools. IMS is a series of fully functional solutions that automates message handling rules and transaction processing workflows.

§  ECS is a SWIFT Certified Solutions Partner as well as a SWIFT Certified Services Partner. The Services provided by ECS are labeled 'SWIFT Ready Services'.

The services offered through the ‘CLOUD’ is integrated with entities like Swift and other market infrastructures.

Management Team

Mr. James Cofield is the founder of Cofield Enterprises, Inc. He is responsible for corporate business strategy, product strategy, and overall direction of the company. Mr. Cofield started his career in the government and commercial services area in 1966 and has served as lead consultant to many top service companies such as AT&T (government & commercial technical account support) and Newport Shipyard (Nuclear Engineering safety support). His years of experience in government and commercial security services areas led him to formulate the ideas that ultimately became the blueprint of unique “Secure Credit Card technologies”, “Data Security Nodes” for protection of oil pipelines from terrorism, “Hyper spectral Camera Development” for the detection of IED’s in war zones, RFID luggage tape & tags for thief protection at international travel portals, and Micro/SS security software for secure computing platforms.

Mr. Jacob Aruldhas, PhD. is the founder of ECS Financials. He is responsible for technical direction, product strategy, and overall direction of the company. Mr. Aruldhas started his career in the financial services area in 1997 and has served as lead architect to many top financial service companies such as Deutsche Bank, Chase Manhattan, Vanguard, and MetLife. His years of experience in banking led him to formulate the ideas that ultimately became the blueprint of IMS Solutions that are currently being utilized by banks, investment managers, and corporations for automating international money movement, trade services and trade settlement.

Mr. Thomas Kurian, will lead the effort of defining & designing Software as a Service to the user group. Mr. Kurian most recently spent time with a mid sized broker/dealer, (Credit Agricole) where he headed up the middle and back office technology teams. He was responsible for systems that cleared & settled $1 Billion in US equity trades and $500 MM in global equity trades in 13 markets per day. Previously, Mr. Kurian was instrumental in providing advice and design for fortune 100 companies in the area of transaction processing and process automation.

Some Success Stories Corporate Funding Partners, New York CFP has managed to cut short their processing cycle between their customers and banks by few days utilizing IMS Trade services which has resulted in higher acceptance rate and eliminated time based rejections. Client Portals are extended to counter parties worldwide that minimizes travel of documents between all concerned parties. Messaging with banks are accomplished using MT798 corporate bank SWIFT communication protocols, facilitated through the IMS cloud. CFP and its customers and counterparties utilized IMS cloud hosted from our datacenters located in New York and Missouri. United Nations Development Program, NY UNDP utilizes IMS for supporting treasury activities and manage financial Statements covering more than one hundred countries to a paper-free environment. UNDP uses ECS Datacenter & ECS Swift Bureau for hosting IMS as well as SWIFT DR/Business Continuity Services. Apollo Bank, Florida Apollo Bank, former Union Credit Bank utilizes IMS for processing International Payments, Institutional Money Transfers, Foreign Exchange & Trade Services via Swift. BDBC, Columbia Banco de Bogota, Columbia uses IMS for interfacing Corporate Customers for their Money Movement Requests. Requests are taken from customers in standard Swift format as well as non-standard formats and processed to interface with back-office applications. Statements and Cash Positions are created and sent back to customers.

Ital Bank, Puerto Rico Ital Bank uses IMS for processing all international money movement activities using via Swift. Proprietary messages are gathered from multiple parties/systems from where Swift instructions are automatically created and send out for processing. Incoming advices, instructions and notices are processed automatically and concerned parties are given status updates. Export Import Bank, Jamaica Exim Bank utilizes IMS for processing international trades services and subsequent money movement activities utilizing SWIFT. Letter of Credit, Standby letter of credit, bank guarantees etc are prepared and processed utilizing IMS. Banco de Credito, Peru BDCP uses IMS for automating workflows associated with International Payments & International Trade Services utilizing Swift and other forms of communication. Center for Asset Management, NY CAM utilizes IMS for processing trade settlements and to communicate with Custodians via Swift for automating trade settlements as well as to communicate with Money Managers to instruct payments. Empire Bank, Dominican Republic EBDR uses IMS for participating in international Trade related Services and Money Movement activities by issuing Bank Guarantees, Letter of Credit and Standby letters of Credit to Issuing Banks and Confirming banks via Swift. EBDR also utilizes IMS for processing and updating trade related notifications with counterparty systems.
