Shabbath lesson on the Calendar Part 1 I want to put a disclaimer in this lesson before I get started. This lesson is not design to be used to go against brethren that do not use the same calendar. I am not calling anyone right or wrong concerning how he or she are calculating for the Feast. We have in our forefather’s history that there was 3 maybe 4 ways they may have calculated Feast days. Example. Qumran, and other Zadokite - priest used a solar calendar for their feast. Others have been recorded to use the moon. There are some that use the barley. Finally calculations made before the seeing the moon, etc. The point of this lesson is to share why we believe that using the Zadokite - Priest / Qumran calendar for calculating the feast, lines up with agricultural, Feast days, and shabbaths. I pray no one takes offense to the information that is being shared. Our desire is I believe as others are to inline with His word. We know that all can’t be right, but all can be wrong. I know that He will restore all when we become His possession. Col. 2:16 ¶ Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an set- apart day, or of the new moon, or of the shabbath days: Col. 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Mashiyach. How do we know which day is the shabbath? Gen. 2:2 And on the sixth {seventh| bad translation. See the Sp, LXX, and the Aramaic Peshitta} day Alahiym ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. Barashiyth 2:2 is an adjective, describing what was done on this day. What is the point that I am mentioning the seventh day and the shabbath? Two reasons Feast days are scribed by counting a number, and the shabbath is key for other appointed times. Deut. 16:9 Seven weeks shall you number unto you: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as you begin to put the sickle to the corn. Deut. 16:10 And you shall keep the feast of weeks unto Yahuah your Alahiym with a tribute of a freewill offering of your hand, which you shall give unto Yahuah your Alahiym, according as Yahuah your Alahiym has blessed you: Lev. 23:15 ¶ And you shall count unto you from the morrow after the shabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven shabbaths shall be complete: Lev. 23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh shabbath shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meat offering unto Yahuah. What do you see and hear that is needed to understand how to calculate this Feast?

o Shabbaths and Weeks are needed in order for you to make this work. How will you calculate this if the moon does not govern the weekly shabbath, but the Feast of weeks are? Keep in mind it cannot exceed 50 days? More on this when we get into the 2 calculations.

What does Feasts means in Lev. 23:2? Lev. 23:1 ¶ And Yahuah spoke unto Mushah {Mosheh/Moses}, saying, Lev. 23:2 Speak unto the children of Yashra’al {Yisrael/Israel}, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yahuah, which you shall proclaim to be set-apart convocations, even these are my feasts.

Gen. 17:21 But my covenant will I establish with Yatskaq {Yitskaq/Isaac}, which S[h]arah shall bear unto you at this set time in the next year.

We will address month once we start to go over the calendar. What we do know so far is that the calendar of Yahuah has fixed dates that cannot be changed. What does that mean? It means it is not contingent on when YOU see it. If for example, the moon cannot be visible, on the time that is fixed, you cannot say well when the moon is visible I can now declare the feast. It is in opposition to man’s determination. Yahuah has set it and cannot be changed. Think about it this way

• 6 days you shall labor. What is based on? Moon / Sun / Stars / labor • Feast days are pre numbered as well. What are they based on? Moon / Sun / Stars

/ labor • If these appointed times have dates, how are they based on mans observation?

In order to see how these things work, we need to start from the beginning. Gen. 1:14 ¶ And Alahiym said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

• The pattern that you should pick up in this verse should be the pattern for all Feast Days going forward.

o For Sign(s) לאתת o Appointed or set time ים למועדo Days o Years.

§ What you have not heard as of yet is Weeks and Months. That will come later in the scriptures and in the lessons to come.

Page 5: Shabbath lesson on the Calendar Part 1thepathtoyahuah.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/09...2016/07/09  · Shabbath lesson on the Calendar Part 1 I want to put a disclaimer in this

Gen. 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. Gen. 1:16 And Alahiym made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. Gen. 1:17 And Alahiym set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, Gen. 1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and Alahiym saw that it was good. Gen. 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Throughout barashiyth {Genesis} during the time of Adam, the word for month has never appeared. This is not to say it did not exist, but according to the scriptures we cannot find the word חדש. We do know that the seventh day was mentioned, to complete a week. Gen. 2:1 ¶ Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. Gen. 2:2 And on the sixth {seventh| bad translation. See the Sp, LXX, and the Aramaic Peshitta} day Alahiym ended his work, which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work, which he had made. Gen. 2:3 And Alahiym blessed the seventh day, and purified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Alahiym created and made. The pattern in Adams count is the same way we would count. The day starts at evening, and goes to morning. Next day is at evening and goes to morning. Etc. So two things are happening. We are seeing a 24-hour cycle, and a 12-hour work cycle. More on this when we talk about shabbath. But for now we should see that scripture is counting by days right now. Later in verse 14 notice the lights are given rulership. Notice that once rulership was given, the count to the weekly shabbath did not start over. The count kept going. This will help you see why the Qumran and the Priest start the Feast days on the 4th day, when they see the signs in the heaven. This is the start of the luminary(s) count. It marks the set time or appointed time, which is also translated as Feast days, and the day count for the year. This was stated above in Gen. 1:14. We will see later on the studies of the calendar, how the weekly shabbath and the luminary count gives a balance for the complete year.

Page 6: Shabbath lesson on the Calendar Part 1thepathtoyahuah.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/09...2016/07/09  · Shabbath lesson on the Calendar Part 1 I want to put a disclaimer in this

This will be how Adam would know when a Season starts, a Day starts and the year start [days lead to years]. Once that year is up, the next thing he is waiting for is the sign of the New Year, to start this process all over again. He will know how to till the garden. Based off of what has been said. What I have not gone over yet is the Moon, which does not start or end a year, and the start. We will be looking at these luminaries as well. What we have that is known so far, is during the time of Adam we know He understood signs, set times, days and years. We do not have any evidence of him knowing or using months as a timepiece.

• We can say that He knows the three main time clocks. 1. Sun 2. Moon 3. Stars

There is one more element that might be of interest. Gen. 2:15 And Yahuah Alahiym took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

ʿabad, aw-bad´; a primitive root; to work (in any sense); by עבד .5647 •implication, to serve, till, and dress.

I want to give a quick note. We know the sun has to be in the east going through the eastern gate if you. What you see is the Sun which = the light which is fire. Gen. 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east {east gate} of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword {picture of a sun | 2 witnesses} which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. The direction and movement of the sun can be seen in the Garden of Eden.

The sun moves from the east going through northeast continuing to set in the west. From the east going to the west where would the tree of life is? It is in the middle. Scripture is very clear to point this out.

• Gen. 2:9 And out of the ground made Yahuah Alahiym to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

o 8432. תוך tawek, taw´-wek; from an unused root meaning to sever; a bisection, i.e. (by implication) the centre:—among(-st), x between, half, x (there-, where-), in(-to), middle, mid(-night), midst (among), x out (of), x through, x with(-in).

§ Centre The middle point of a circle or sphere, equidistant from every point on the circumference or surface. • A point or part that is equally distant from all

Page 7: Shabbath lesson on the Calendar Part 1thepathtoyahuah.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/09...2016/07/09  · Shabbath lesson on the Calendar Part 1 I want to put a disclaimer in this

The next clue is during the springtime, commonly called the vernal equinox; the sun is in a 90-degree angle. When it sets in the west, it will be 270 degrees. What does the total degrees compute to? 360 degrees. 360 degrees is an enclosure. Is the Garden of Eden a enclosure?

o 1588. גן gan, gan; from 1598; a garden (as fenced):—garden. o 1598. גנן ganan, gaw-nan´; a primitive root; to hedge about, i.e. (generally)

protect:—defend. The tree of knowledge is there as well. What can we gleam from this pattern? That the way the sun moves can actually show you an agricultural pattern. From the east, starting of the year brings you to the tree of life, or life being brought forth. Spring equinox, going through the summer or summer solstice. And in the Fall when the sun is moving southwest through the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is the Fall season going towards winter or the winter solstice. This might be a coincidence, but is it possible Adam knowing the Father’s name Yahuah, that the numerical value is 26 [5 = ה ;6 = ו ;5 = ה ;10 = י total 26] and the number 7 which equals the 7 days which is the week count, meaning 7 days per week. So 26 weeks * 7 {26 x 7} will gives us 182. So from spring to fall or from Vernal Equinox to Autumn Equinox = 182 days. Now from Autumn Equinox back to the Vernal Equinox would be another 182 days. The total is 364. I can further simplify this by using the Creators numerical value, which is 26. 26 weeks from Vernal Equinox to Autumn Equinox and 26 from the Autumn Equinox back to the Vernal Equinox, gives us a total of 52 weeks. Once these weeks {52} or days {364} are complete, the next day would be a balanced day {365}. How does this work? Once the year runs its course the next day he would need to see the position of the sun, and that it is rising in a 90-degree angle. And that it sets 270 in the west. The plumbline is now complete if you will. This would be his witness that spring has arrived. If it is not then the sunset Wednesday will be, so He will check the rising of the sun to see if it is in the 90-degree angle. So His two witnesses are, sunrise and sunset. The 3rd witnesses would be the shabbath count. Finally if you do not have the two witnesses you will know there is a leap weak. The stars play a rule in helping keep track of the season and the year. This will be helpful when the setting of the 270 degrees and Pleiades the star clusters talked about in Job comes into play.

Theses cluster of stars looks like a arrow and a shovel. When you look at the star going from winter into spring, these clusters will set. They set earlier each night. At some point the cluster will disappear in the late afternoon. When the night comes you will not see

Page 8: Shabbath lesson on the Calendar Part 1thepathtoyahuah.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/09...2016/07/09  · Shabbath lesson on the Calendar Part 1 I want to put a disclaimer in this

that shovel shaped cluster of stars. What that means is the shovel or stars have gone under the horizon, it is time to plow. Put my shovel in the earth

1st Day 2nd Day 3rd Day 4th Day 5th Day 6th Day 7th Day Summary

1. There is a weekly shabbath count. 2. When the luminaries were made they will be for signs and feast/set times. 3. Counting from 4th day {Yom Rebi’i | Wednesday} to 3rd day {Yom Sh’li’shi | Tuesday}, and

counting from 1st Day {Yom Rishon | Sunday} to 7th Day {Yom Shabbath | Saturday} 4. Adam must count 2 sets of 26 weeks. 5. Adam must have 2 calendars operating at the same time. Weekly shabbath and

Feast set or appointed times. These are for working in the garden. Later our. forefathers would take the labors in their garden 3 times a year and present it to Yahuah.

We will see more in the Noah story. We will go over how to visually do this later. This is how you would balance a 364-year with a 365-year. The 364 is a agricultural calendar. More on this as we walk this out in other places in scripture. Later we will see that intercalations must be done with the moon. Looking at the chart: lets start with “winter”. The sun is far south looking eastward This is the “winter Solstice. Spring, which is 3 months later, is the time when the sun will rise at a 90-degree straight up. This is called the Vernal Equinox. And will set in the west 270-degrees, 90 + 270 = 360. The summer solstice the sun is in the northern elevation and gets its maxim height. Lastly the Fall Equinox is back in the 90-degree position. Then the sun will return back to the winter Solstice. Each time they move, it is in the 3rd month. So Enoch is showing 30 30 31, each cycle in its season.

Do we have 4 seasons in scripture? Next week we will go into this more.
