“Gresham’s, in many ways made me the person I am today. It was the first place I ever acted.
Crucially, it was the first place I wanted to act. Perhaps I wouldn’t have been an actor at all if it
weren’t for Gresham’s”

Music and Munch at 1.20pm
Music & Munch concerts take place most Thursdays during term time in Tig’s Café in the Britten Building. These give our talented musicians valuable performance experience in front of an audience. We welcome members of the public to join the audience of parents, staff and pupils and enjoy a light sandwich lunch for which we suggest a donation of £2.
Music & Munch starts at 1.20pm and we would ask that no one arrives before 12.50pm.
May 2, 9, 16, 23 (Leavers’ Music & Munch and final one of the term)
Tig’s Café No tickets required Suggested donation of £2 for lunch.
Wed 10 - Sat 13 April Nightly at 7.30pm
The North Norfolk Chamber Opera Presents
The Marriage of Figaro
The Marriage of Figaro is Mozart's most popular opera. It features stunning music and a provocative storyline that relates to current affairs. The conniving Count Almaviva wishes to exercise his ‘right’ to de-flower the chambermaid Susanna ahead of her marriage to Figaro. But Figaro, Susanna and the sad Countess outwit the Count, who ends up begging for forgiveness. The opera has many hilarious moments of farce interfaced with some of the most sublime musical moments in the history of opera. Set in the time frame of The Great Gatsby, NNCO’s new production promises to be a real treat.

Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society
Summer Concert
Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society, directed by David Ballard, are delighted to conclude their 2018-19 season by returning to the Auden Theatre to present a programme with a distinctly German flavour.
Sir Edward Elgar’s From the Bavarian Highlands was written in 1894 in homage to a memorable Bavarian holiday. Elgar was greatly inspired by Johannes Brahms during his visits to Leipzig so it is very fitting that our programme includes his ever popular German Requiem (Ein Deutsches Requiem) which will be performed with the original accompaniment for piano duet. With soloists Rebecca Kaznowski, soprano and Dhilan Gnanadurai, baritone

DYAD Productions Presents
Orlando
Orlando: Who is she? Who is he? Who are we?
Find out in the life-affirming, comedic tale of an immortal poet, whose gender cannot be pinned down, whose spirit cannot be caged, and whose irreverent, romantic adventures across British history – from the 1500s to the present day – provide a magic-realist exploration of human identity; personal, sexual and national.
Drawing on a decade’s worth of critically-acclaimed theatre-making, Dyad Productions – performer Rebecca Vaughan and writer/director Elton Townend Jones – explore what it means to find our place in the world whilst remaining utterly true to who we are. Based on the satirical 1928 novel by Virginia Woolf.

Dragonboy Productions presents
In and Out of Chekhov's Shorts
Chekhov is one of the great writers of the 20th Century and these tales, newly adapted and directed by Eliot Giuralarocca, remain as memorable and bracing as jumping into a cold plunge pool after a hot sauna! Performed by a company of five featuring original live music and stylish ensemble storytelling. In and Out of Chekhov’s Shorts is an exhilarating, fun and accessible romp through some of the best of Chekhov’s short stories including The Lady with the Little Dog, The Chemist’s Wife, At a Summer Villa, An Avenger and The Bear.
These wonderful hymns to the absurdity of everyday life, are by turns hilarious, romantic, poignant, odd and memorable. They hold the mirror up to the half-comic, half-painful experience of love and relationships and create a world in which the tender and the grotesque are inextricably linked. Ludicrous situations and larger than life characters abound in an evening that simply cannot be missed!
