Study investigating the effectiveness of the drug acamprosate to reduce core social skills deficits associated with ASD. Administered eye-‐tracking paradigms to participants. Coordinated study drug, obtained study drug from investigational pharmacy, distributed study drug to participants, administered dosing instructions, and calculated study drug compliance and accountability. National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). R01MH082865 2/2 Multisite Study of School Based Treatment Approaches for ADHD Adolescents. Trained on implementing study skills, social skills, and behavioral management of adolescents with ADHD. Collaborated directly with students, teachers, and parents to develop academic and social treatment plans. Implemented organizational, academic, and interpersonal skills interventions 6-‐9 hours a week. Applied behavior modification techniques using behavior calls and positive and negative reinforcement. Collected and presented data on student’s progress.

Primary Investigator: Heidi Kloos, Ph.D. Study examining how typically developing children understand and use Gestalts when presented with false and abstract information. Recruited participants from local schools, daycares, and local museum center. Tested participants using an interactive computer program. Maintained participant logs. Created a data summary from over 200 participants using Microsoft Excel to be used in publication.
Developmental Change in the Dynamics of Spontaneous Entrainment in 5-, 7-, and 9-year-olds Primary Investigator: Heidi Kloos, Ph.D. Study examining if the way in which characteristics of spontaneous motor entrainment change in children from 5 years to 9 years is consistent with dynamic systems theory. Recruited participants from local schools, daycares, and local museum center. Tested participants using Xbox Kinect technology to track arm motion. Maintained participant logs, and managed participant data using Microsoft Excel.

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Trained on the administration of the Differential Ability Scales-‐II (DAS-‐II) Early Years and School Age batteries. Observed live administrations by a psychologist and reviewed scoring procedures. Administered IQ assessments with a psychologist shadowing and received approval of independent administration with research participants.
