• TARGET GROUP: YEAR 2 (advanced)

• LEARNING OUTCOME:At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

- Identify three-dimensional shapes based on descriptions.

• SYNOPSIS OF THE TASK:- The task is designed for Year 2 advanced learners. This activity is

very suitable and will be very effective for teachers to examine pupils’ understanding of the topic that they have learnt. This activity can be very interesting for the pupils because they will enjoy investigating the shapes with their friends and also to compete with each other to get the title of “Shape Detective”. Besides that, this task will not only challenge their mind and knowledge about the shapes and its features but the descriptions given will also enhance their knowledge about the topic and bring them to the real world situation where they can find the shapes everywhere around them.
