Why Did I Choose This Topic?1. First of all, I really enjoy playing and watching basketball. Shaquille O’ Neil is one of my favorite players! I know there are lots of interesting facts about him.

2. Well, I’m not going to lie…I know statistics are extensively recorded for Shaq, so, the data would be easy to find.

Shaq wears a size 23 shoe. . . About 10 sizes bigger than most adult men!

He won an Olympic gold medal in 1996.O’ Neal weighs 325 pounds, and is 7 feet, and 1

inch tall!He has played for the following teams: Orlando

Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, US Olympic Team, and LSU in college.

So, if Shaq were to continue playing, he will likely be playing less and less games. Therefore, the minimum number of games that Shaq plays will decrease.

With the help of a scatter plot, it is easy to see that Shaq improved from his first year at age 20. Then, Shaq stayed in the approximate same range of shots made while he was 21-29. Between the ages of 30 and 38, there was a noticeable drop in his performance of shots made. One could say that as Shaq got older, the number of shots he made decreased.

He also scored 1500-1999 points in 5 different seasons, and 2000-2499 points in 4 different seasons! If Shaq were to continue playing, however, he would probably be scoring more points in the 500-999 category, due to his age.
