Summary of our Library Mailing Service:

We help you to select those libraries most likely to purchase your products or services.

We then direct mail your chosen selection of libraries with your promotional literature.

We target named subject librarians and information specialists.

We print addresses directly onto our envelopes for fulfilment and dispatch.

All response goes back to you - mostly via a library supplier.

We offer free informal help on the essentials of successful selling to libraries.

Shared & Solus mailings available:

Shared mailings (shown in this timetable) go out very economically across the UK and/or continental Europe, on a year-round schedule. Each mailing has up to 3 publishers involved.

Solus mailings go out on a date of your choice, to your tailored selection of

libraries.

Shared Mailing Prices (as shown in this timetable): Prices include printing and provision of envelopes, fulfilment of inserts and postage up to 30g for both A5 and A4 size material. The European Database of Libraries Ltd, a family business, founded in 1989 by Alan Armstrong.

The database of libraries has developed over the last 25 years to provide accurate and targeted mailings tolibraries across the UK and Europe. We pursue a sole aim, and that is to help publishers to promote theirproducts into specialist libraries.

The library database contains over 30,000 named subject specialist librarians. Accuracy of information isimportant to us, as we constantly research, update and add records through our daily use and maintenanceof the database. We do not give our library mailing lists to any outside company.

The company is based in a country house set within the Hambleden Valley in the heart of the Chiltern Hillsin southern England.

The European Database of Libraries has not changed ownership since it was created and retains all theoriginal staff, accountants and bankers. The company has remained profitable each year since its conception.

The Libraries:For each record we have the named subject specialist librarian. We hold details of those librarians who havethe purchasing decision within their subject. As well as this, we also make sure that each library has annually renewing purchasing budgets and collects in the English language.
