Wednesday 24 th February 2016 To Whom It May Concern, Shauna Robertson was employed as a Disability Support Worker at Centacare Community Services for approximately 3 years. Throughout this period, Shauna supported individuals diagnosed with a range of disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual and Physical Impairments and individuals with Epilepsy. During her time of employment, Shauna remained very dedicated to the individuals she supported and always took a person-centred approach to meeting their needs and goals by having the ability to build rapport in a short period of time. In this role, Shauna provided support to individuals from vastly ranging socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. As a disability support worker Shauna provided a range of support in a group setting and also on a 1:1 basis including community access, in-home respite, and personal care support. Shauna has great communications skills which proved to be a strength in this role and she was an asset to the service for her period of employment.
