sharing with the church what they heard about the Children's and Youth Ministries. On the final day, June 10, the report will be present-ed to the congregation laying out a blue print for how to move for-ward .

The listening groups will be made up of people who care about the children's and youth ministry. This might include Godly Play teachers, Sunday School teachers, parents, youth and various steering commit-

tees. They will have a chance to share frustrations and dreams, identify chal-lenges, and talk about what they really want.

Please mark your calendar for June 7 & 8 to be a part of the listening groups. June 10 all are welcome to hear the presentation and suggestions from Ministry Architects. For more information about Ministry Archi-tects, visit their web-site at www.YMArchitects.com

Family Gardening Day

This Saturday, April 13 at 9:00 a.m. we will meet to plant Easter flowers in Good Shepherd’s Carole Eastland Memorial Garden and then the children will have a lesson on pray-er. Each family will decorate a special pot and plant a pansy to be taken home as a reminder of the lessons learned about prayer as they watch their prayers "grow and bloom." For information or to sign up, please call 252-1744 or e-mail [email protected].

"The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd...where the Eucharist draws us to the center of Christ's love...and

the Holy Spirit sends us out on God's reconciling Mission...."

I am thrilled to announce that the first portion of our new Goulding and Wood organ is scheduled to arrive on Monday,

April 15th. We are planning a 1 p.m. welcoming liturgy to greet the new organ. This will be a great chance for us to mark

an important threshold in the life of Good Shepherd. Once the truck with the first section of the new organ arrives, the

builders will go into construction phase which will take several days with each section.

The dream for this new organ began many years ago. Through many hours of plan-

ning and preparation and through many pledges and gifts, both large and small, we

are about to go from the dreaming and planning phase to the here and now, with

the new organ being built in our space. We want to capture this moment, with pray-

ers and song and video and photographs. The Miller-Wrigley organ will serve to

enliven and deepen worship here at Good Shepherd for generations to come and we

are the fortunate ones who will be able to say we were present in this moment.

Please join us on Monday the 15th for welcome and thanksgiving for the new organ.

Please feel free to wear festive dress and bring camera and video and sketch pad and

other ways to "capture" the day.

Peace,
