At this ceremony, we’ll decommission the original church building (not to be confused with the current Wor- ship Center!) and break ground for the new building. The original church building the tan brick building known in recent years as the school library and administration building is being razed to make room for our new multi-purpose facility. On April 28, we’ll gather in the old church building right after the 11:00 service for the decommissioning, and then head outside for groundbreaking. A lunch reception in the gym will follow. DECOMMISSIONING/ GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY SATURDAY SERVICE SUPPER Food and fellowship coming April 13, 4:45-5:30 p.m. in the gym for our Saturday Service Supper. On the menu: Ham, potato casserole, green bean casserole, dinner rolls and delicious desserts. There is no charge for dinner, but there will be a basket available for freewill dona- tions. Following supper, we’ll head over to the church for our 6 p.m. service. SHLC SEEKING BOOKKEEPER Shirley Yoakum, after years of faithful and dedicated service, will be retiring by June 30, 2019. Shepherd of the Hills is seeking a part-time bookkeeper for the church. Interested individuals can receive the desired job qualifications and fill out an application in the church office during regular business hours Monday - Friday.

SPRING SPRUCE UP Saturday workday to clean up the campus for spring and Easter, April 13, from 8 a.m.-noon. Please plan on joining us to work on raking leaves, painting, cleaning, and setting up for the coming Easter cele-brations. Your help is needed and appreciated. There are

sign up sheets for the specific tasks to be accomplished on the work-days in the church lobby. Please plan on joining in on one or both of these clean up days.

HAIRCUTS BY ELSA Elsa Rodriguez, retired hair stylist and grandmother to a Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School student will be providing haircuts on the first and third Saturday of each month beginning May 4, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills. Elsa’s specialty is men and boys, but can do women with short hair too. The cost is $15 and all money col-lected will benefit the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School Scholar-ship Fund.
