Welcome to the second round of the Yorkshire Cyclo-Cross winter 2021-22 series. Ashost club, Shibden CC would like to thank you for supporting our event and we hopeyou have a fun and successful day of racing.
We are extremely grateful to our event sponsors Hope for all their support in securingthis venue and for the huge amount of support they gave us in planning and preparingfor this event.
We'd also like to thank Yorkshire Cyclo-Cross and the series sponsors for their supportand input to the event.
There are a couple of points to draw to everyone's attention. Firstly, we're at anentirely new venue, so please check you know where you are going.
We will be opening the gates at 9am, so please don't arrive any earlier.
Parking is restricted at the venue and we will be asking you to park carefully andclosely to adjacent vehicles. Gazebos and warm-up area can be set up in the mainevent field, which is grass, but we won't be allowing awnings and other space-eatingset-ups in the car park. Please plan your warm-ups etc accordingly.

LocationThe event is located at a new venue on the Broughton estate. Please make a careful note of the location and how toget to it. Please do not attempt to navigate to Broughton Hall - the event location is some distance away on the otherside on the A59. Use postcode BD23 3AQ if you are using satnav.
The venue is located close to the A59, some 3 miles to the West of Skipton. If you are approaching the venue from theSkipton/Keighley/Leeds direction, take a right turn on to a minor road signposted "Gargrave" and just after The Bullpublic house. After passing through the small hamlet of Broughton, look for signposting for a turn left into the venue.
If you are approaching from the West, you will pass the venue on your left (don't worry you haven't overshot), beforesimilarly looking for a turn on the left, signposted "Gargrave".
The event postcode, BD23 3AQ, gets you to the hamlet of Broughton, with the left turn into the venue a hundred yardslater.
Signposting will be in place. Please don't try to use the road at the extreme left of this map to enter or leave the venue.The one access road is marked in yellow dots on this map. Please don't park along this road as 2-way traffic needs tobe maintained.

Venue Map
The venue will open at 9am - please don't arrive before that time.
Sign-on: This will be done as you enter the main car-park.
Parking: Please follow the instructions of the parking marshals. Parking space is limited, so we needeveryone to help us fit all the vehicles in. Gazebos etc should be pitched in the event field, along the fencejust above the finish and first aid icons on the map above. Please don't set up awnings and otherequipment in the car park. The jet-wash and pits areas are 1 minute walk from the car park.

Schedule
Gridding: This will be based on the last two digits of your arm number. Please followthe commissaires' instructions. See next page for more details.
Podiums: We will be running podiums for all races as soon as possible after the raceshave finished. Please listen for announcements on the day, but it's likely that we willrun the Under 8, 10 & 12 podiums at approximately 11.30 and the remainder of thepodiums within 10 mins of the races finishing.
Prizes: Cash prize winners will be given envelopes with details of how to claim theircash winnings.
Results: Will be published after every race on the Smartiming website -http://results.smartiming.co.uk/ - and later on www.yorkshirecyclocross.com

How the Grid Works
The arm number you receive correlates to the numbers in the start grid. Poles at theside of each row denote the row numbers. For easy, safe and efficient gridding,please note that the last two digits of your rider number correspond to the row andcolumn you are in - for example, 33, highlighted, is in the third column and the thirdrow. When you are called up at gridding, please go to your grid position.
