On World Cholangiocarcinoma Day 2019, a new collective voice was heard for the first time. The Global Cholangiocarcinoma Alliance (GCA) officially launched on February 12, 2019. This group has united to establish a global voice in cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) through community collaborations.
The GCA has a shared vision to raise awareness of CCA in order to improve prevention, survival, and the quality of life for patients with this disease.
World CCA Day is now part of the strategy of the GCA, as it works towards an improved future for all those with CCA across the globe. This guide has been developed to outline how you can get involved
and help raise awareness on World CCA Day, February 12, 2021, and beyond.
