It’s that time of year again the autumn fall is here along with the leaves, rain, and fog filled streets. The lighting in your buses is therefore one of the most important factors for the security of passengers and drivers, but also other road users. So gear yourself up for the dark season and have the lighting system on your buses checked.

As part of our “Lighting Check 2012” campaign, we are offering you the chance to have the lighting on your buses checked for free.** Our experts who are trained specifically to work with buses, will check the exterior lights as well as the adjustment of your main headlamps and front fog lamps.

And if something happens to be broken and needs to be exchanged, we have compiled the most common accessories and replacement parts at attractive prices for you as a supplement to the Lighting Check dur-ing the campaign period .

Windscreens, batteries, alternators and starters

We’ve testedWe have set high standards regarding the material for our genuine OMNIplus windscreens. Windscreens are subjected to flying stones and must protect the driver and passengers from objects, wind and weather, as well as Ultra Violate lights. The windscreen is also important for retaining vehicle rigidity during accidents. In order to fulfill these requirements, OMNIplus has developed its own strictly controlled standards and which ensures optimal product quality during production

With each windsscreen, all geometric data including the positioning of curvatures is com-pared with the development tolerance specifications. Afterwards the genuine windscreen wipers can also be adjusted exactly to the radius of the curvature in order to ensure an optimal wiping pattern on the windscreen.

The windscreen’s susceptibility to cracking is reduced thanks to cleanly polished edges and therefore the loss of frame stability is avoided.

Seals, profiles and the bonding are meticulously checked in order to avoid serious danger to the safety of drivers and occupants.

The main components of a clutch are the pressure plate, release bearing, with the clutch plate as a central fastener. Com-fortable coupling is ensured only when all three components interact perfectly. In order to make this comfort possible the coupling components are optimal to the drivetrain, therefore the clutch plates are equipped with compression springs of various strengths. Depending on the purpose, the compression springs are marked in various colours to ensure that tor-sional damping is adjusted to the drivetrain and therefore ensure optimal coupling.

The coupling friction lining as a crucial element of the clutch plate.Coupling friction linings must have both high heat resistance and exceptional wear resistance as well as a high friction value at high temperatures. Linings not adjusted can impair the drive comfort, for example a grabbing clutch can affect the ride comfort for your passengers.
