The Shipbuilding & Repair hub enjoys a prime location on the Atlantic Arc and is situated at the heart of the thriving La Rochelle Atlantic Port. Boasting high-performance facilities, the hub is home to a host of businesses offering comple-mentary shipbuilding and repair skills. La Rochelle Atlantic Port has been awarded ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification for all its activities, and the hub benefits from the Port’s highly-specialised staff and technical tools.

The dry dock in La Rochelle Atlantic Port’s Shipbuilding & Repair hub can accommodate 5 to 10 ships at a time. Ships are hoisted from a wet dock within close proximity of the two dry docks. The ship elevator has capacity to handle vessels weighing up to 300 metric tons and measuring up to 35 metres in length. The Shipbuilding & Repair hub also offers ship repair facilities on two afloat repair docks (Camaret quay and the central wharf in the lock basin) which are equipped with power supply and running water.

> Dry and wet docks for ship repairs:6,000 m² repair yard 3 .Two afloat repair docks: Camaret quay and the central wharf in the lock basin (outside the hub site) 4 .
The wet and dry docks are connected to a surface water handling unit.

The repair yard also allows access to other specific tools and equipement for lifting and handling.
