Episode Concept

AMERICA’S TEAM FC

ATFC is a high concept reality show that involves replacing the current players of a Scottish Soccer team and replacing them with amateur and semi-pro American players.

The Americans will have the chance to turn around a team renowned for being the worst team in Europe - and perhaps all of professional soccer. In their journey to take the team from worst to first - viewers will be glued to the drama, intense action, and suspense that will be created as the players

invade the Scottish Highlands - all of this set in a town and stadium that has been cited by the BBC as the most scenic in the UK. The show will feature the personality clashes, heated rivalries, relationships and alliances, team conflicts, torrid romances, and ultimately the unity built between the players and their adopted hometown.

The Roster

Handsome & DynamicThe program will attract a

strong young female audience, as well as “soccer moms.” They will be attracted to their

personalities, their stories and interactions with each other and the

“episodic” drama that will unfold as they interact with the locals - and relationships start - break apart - etc. Men will watch because of the rugged competition, the energy, pace -

confrontations and conflicts, the caustic relationships between US players and Scottish coaches, budding rivalries with “villains” from other teams, and best of all - chance to participate in the action,

with the the thrill of turning a losing franchise around - and like the world of fantasy sports - they can pick the starting team and choose the strategy.

Easy to Replicate!

America’s Team FC is a cross-cultural show that will work for many countriesThe show as it is created would be popular in the U.S. - and in the U.K. It also employs a model that can be easily replicated and transferred to other countries/markets - especially with the continued popularity of soccer throughout the world (Europe, Latin America) - and the sport’s massive rise in the growing television markets of the Far East (China, Japan, Korea, etc.)

The Formula for Recruiting: the team will be comprised of 16 Americans from

cities all across the country - so that we can saturate major DMA’s with heroes that they can rally around. It is vital to represent different backgrounds, ethnicities, and socio-economic status. A vibrant - and sometimes eccentric personality is as critical as athletic skill.

We are recruiting “a wonder kid” (a David Archuleta type), five or so “Abercrombie and Fitch” sexy, athletic superstar types (such as Max Cream featured on page 1), a few All-American, clean cut college boys, a “comeback kid” who has retired, was injured, or otherwise given up (aka Disney’s “The Rookie)” a few hunky “Ty Pennington” types that are established, more late-20’s mature and camera friendly (see Caleb Norkus below) and vital to the formula is to find an underdog who perhaps had the skill - but never the chance to play.

“This viewer controlled TV series will change the world of sports as we know it. It will force the same impact that the internet and Apple had on the music industry”

ATFC will also generate large amounts of revenue through:Live Match PPV via DTV or VOD broadcasts

“THE FORT WILLIAMS FOOTBALL CLUB are 'THE BAD NEWS BEARS OF SCOTLAND'.

They are a pro soccer team that is embarrassingly bad recently LOSING 57 OUT OF 59 recent contests. The idea is to import a group of young, good looking athletic AMERICANS to come over and help the team try to go from “worst to first.” Along the way, the yankee lads will also drink their beer and romance their ladies. How will the Scots react to the Americans? Can they turn Fort William into a winning football team? Will sudden yankee-scottish romances create new couples or long-lasting conflicts and rivalries?

This is a fun one hour romp (aimed for broadcast in the USA and UK) -- two cultures colliding in an arced series about football, pride, and never giving up.

Every episode takes you into the private lives of the players and leads up to a pro match in the final act of the show.

Scottish Captain

Martin Kerr - ScotlandCurrent team captain. He has played for Fort William since he was 14. 12 years of losing and now working at a local whiskey distillery - he plays a key role in how the other players will react to the invasion of Americans.

Jamil Fearrington - USADefender/Midfielder who has played at the reserve level in the US and for several years in Denmark. Career has been stifled as he feels he has never been given a chance. Also a musician/rapper. Being African American in an all white town will also place Jamil as a true outsider.

Others to be cast TBD

YANKS! Cast

Potential players for season 1

Peter Philapakos - USANew York born player and attacking

player with a Greek background. Was projected to be an potential American superstar in Europe but his temper cut his career short in the UK. His potential to be

“the star” of the team is huge if he can just get along with the other players.

The Coach:One of the biggest players to come out of the Fort William FC system was Calum Maclean. A promising career at the top levels in Europe was cut short by constant knee injuries. Now at 47 - he has come home to coach the town of his birth - and has promised to take them to the next level. Loud and animated - and like many in the Highlands has a traditional Scottish “foul mouth.” However, he is often seen by locals townsfolk as “all bark and no bite” and is still too soft on his players.

Caleb Norkus - USAThe senior member of the team - has played at the USL-1 level all of his career - very popular with the fans of Carolina Dynamo (with already a strong fan base). This may be his “last hurrah” in pro sports. Our “good guy” quarterback type - will try to keep the other players in line.

Max Cream - USAMax is a Los Angeles born striker who has played most of his career in Ireland - but is now playing for the Cleveland Crunch. Sexy, young, attractive, model type - known for the nightlife and getting the attention of the ladies. The clubs in Scotland will be attractive to him and girls will follow - leading to trouble from the local men.

Joe Lapira - USAAll-American at Notre Dame - was NCAA player of the year. Was chosen as the first player taken in the US based MLS draft but chose to go to Europe where his career has stalled. Has played though at the international level for Ireland - as he has dual nationality status. Another “good guy” but will likely have trouble adjusting to life in the cold, rugged Highlands.
