Green Belt consisting of three tiers of plantations ofnative species around plant and at least 100 mwidth shall be raised. Wherever 100 m width is notfeasible a 50 m width shall be raised and adequatejustification shall be submitted to the Ministry. Treedensity shall not less than 2500 per ha withsurvival rate not less than 75 %.The project proponent shall also adequatelycontribute in the development of the neighbouringvillages. Special package with implementationschedule for free potable drinking water supply inthe nearby villages and schools shall be undertakenin a time bound manner.

Plantation of native species along with plantboundary has been developed. out of total plantarea of 22.3 ha, plantation has been developed in7.8 ha which is 35 %. Total 27944 saplings havebeen planted.

Potable water is supplied in nearby villages duringsummer.A school is running for nearby villagers in plantcampus. Financial add is given in nearby govt.schools for development of infrastructure. I

An amount of Rs 5.0 Crores shall be earmarked asone time capital cost for CSR programme.Subsequently a recurring expenditure of Rs 1.0Crore per annum shall be earmarked as recurringexpenditure for CSR activities. Details of theactivities to be undertaken shall be submittedwithin one month along with road map forimplementation.

Rs. 9.44 cores have been incurred during thefinancial year 2015-16 under CSR activities.

(iv) Adequate safety measures shall be provided in theplant area to check/minimize spontaneous fires incoal yard. especially during summer season. Copyof these measures with full details along withlocation plant layout shall be submitted to theMinistry as well as to the Regional Office of theMi

(v) Storage facilities for auxiliary liquid fuel such asLOO and/ HFO/LSHS shall be made in the plantarea in consultation with Department of Explosives.Nagpur. Sulphur content in the liquid fuel will not

The data soobtained should be compared with the baselinedata so as to ensure that the ground water qualityis not adversely affected due to the project.

There is no surface water available in the area.

Monitoring surface water quantity and quality shallalso be regularly conducted and recordsmaintained. The monitored data shall be submittedto the Ministry regularly. Further. monitoringpoints shall be located between the plant anddrainage in the direction of flow of ground waterand records maintained. Monitoring for heavy

Regular monitoring of ground level concentrationof S02, NOx, PM2.S & PM10 and Hg shall be carriedout in the impact zone and records maintained. Ifat any stage these levels are found to exceed theprescribed limits, necessary control measures shallbe provided immediately. The location of themonitoring stations and frequency of monitoringshall be decided in consultation with SPCB. Periodicreports shall be submitted to the Regional Office ofthis Ministry. The data shall also be put on thewebsite of the company.

Provision shall be made for the housing ofconstruction labour (as applicable) within the sitewith all necessary infrastructure and facilities suchas fuel for cooking, mobile toilets, mobile STP, safedrinking water, medical health care, creche etc.The housing may be in the form of temporarystructures to be removed after the completion ofthe project.

The project proponent shall advertise in at leasttwo local newspapers widely circulated in theregion around the project, one of which shall be inthe vernacular language of the locality concernedwithin seven days from the date 01 this clearance Iletter. mforrnrng that the project has been accordedenvironmental clearance and copies of clearanceletter are available with the State Pollution ControlBoard/Committee and may also be seen at Websiteof the Ministry of Environment and Forests athttp://envfor.nic.in.

Thesecost shall be included as part of the project cost.The funds earmarked for the environmentprotection measures shall not be diverted for other Ipurposes and year-wise expenditure should be Ireponed to the Ministry.The project authorities shall inform the RegionalOffice as well as the Ministry regarding the date offinancial closure and final approval of the projectby the concerned authorities and the dates of startof land development work and commissioning ofplant.Full cooperation shall be extended to theScientists/Officers from the Ministry / RegionalOffice of the Ministry at Bangalore / CPCB/ SPCSwho would be monitoring the compliance ofenvironmental status.
