SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
Career guidance was organized on 14th September, 2019 at Seminar Hall of Shreeyash
Polytechnic, Aurangabad. Career decisions play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and
development of students. In today’s environment of multiple options, knowing about choices available
helps students in their decision-making process. The session commenced with the Principal, Mrs. S M
Shende reiterating the importance of knowing one’s potential and subject of interest before making a
decision. She also laid stress on the right combination of subjects as per their aptitude which should be
reflected in their academic performance. The resource person for the session was Mrs Preeti Joshi, an
eminent career counsellor. She is a prolific educator who has been associated with counselling and
guidance for the past 10 years. The session aimed at making the audience aware of the multiple career
options available. She also shared information regarding leading universities and various courses
available. She guided the students to identify their interests and what they are good at. She also advised
them to plan multiple activities during their vacations to hone their skills. The session was informative
and enriching for students.
OBJECTIVE:
1. Developing your career management, employability and enterprise skills.
2. To develop readiness for choices and changes to face need challenges.
3. To motivate the youth for self-employment.
4. To help the students in their period of turmoil and confusion.
5. To ensure the proper utilization of time spent outside the classrooms.

OUTCOME:
Carer guidance help students understand their strength and weakness and then match them
with their skills and interest so that they get the best suitable career choice. One wrong choice can not
only cost a lot of money but also amount to waste of some previous years.

SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
A faculty development programme was organized on 21st July, 2019 at Seminar Hall of SYCET,
Aurangabad on the above mentioned topic. This was a one day Faculty Development Programme where
various researches related subtopics and importance of AI & ML were discussed in detail. Artificial
intelligence describes a machine that is capable of imitating and performing intelligent human behavior.
Some of these tasks could include problem-solving and decision-making or specific activities requiring
acute perception, recognition, or translation abilities. Machine learning is a method of data analysis that
automates analytical model building. It is a branch of artificial intelligence based on the idea that
systems can learn from data, identify patterns and make decisions with minimal human intervention.
OBJECTIVE:
1. The purpose of machine learning is to discover patterns in your data and then make predictions
based on those often.
2. Complex patterns to answer business questions, and help solve problems.
3. Machine learning helps analyse your data and identify trends.
4. To understand the use of SPSS in data analysis.
5. Enhance the Analytical Skills.
6. To provide a strong foundation of fundamental concepts in Artificial Intelligence.
7. To provide a basic exposition to the goals and methods of Artificial Intelligence.

SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
General Knowledge Quiz competition was conducted on 15th September 2019 at the Hall
No.220. The competition was aimed at improving the general knowledge awareness among engineering
students and developing the knowledge and excellence base among the students through healthy and
highly motivating meet. The students crammed themselves up with a lot of general knowledge for the
quiz. The event witnessed enthusiastic preparation and participation of students from second year
mechanical engineering branch. The students from second year mechanical engineering diploma had
actively participated in this quiz competition. More than 20 students had given the quiz competition
written examination. The aim behind conducting this competition was to check the creative and artistic
skills of the students.
OBJECTIVE:
1. Student narrative to their sense of perceiving the world.
2. To motivate the students.
3. To train the students to showcase their talent, skills and ideas through their projects.
4. To prepare the students to a real competitive environment.
5. To provide an opportunity for SYP students to demonstrate their independence, originality
and ethics.
Outcome:
A little knowledge of various topics can greatly help student to initiate a conversation with
people, finding a topic with them having some amount of mastery in that particular topic. Student how
have information about current affairs can actually boost your decision making skills.

The function was inaugurated by Mr.P.K.Mashalkar (Campus Director), Principal Mrs. S M
Shende, Mr.S.D.Bhopale and Mr.Sandeep Khandagale (HOD Applied Science) with Saraswati poojan. Mr.
Sandeep Khandagale gives brief introduction of 2 days program. In the first session Principal Mrs. S M
Shende put focus on scenario of technical education-AICTE, DTE, MSBTE, types of institutions, resources
available with the institution. Afterwards Mr. S D Bhopale, HOD, Mechanical Department has given on
various Engineering branches available with the institution – Interlinking and Significance of branches.
OBJECTIVE:
1. To familiarize students with the campus environment and physical facilities.
2. To create an atmosphere that minimizes anxiety, promotes positive attitudes, and stimulates an
excitement for learning.
3. To provide a welcoming atmosphere for students and families to meet faculty, staff, and
continuing students, as well as other new students.
4. To provide the families of new students comprehensive information about the academic and
student service resources and programs.
5. To provide employment, leadership, and learning opportunities for continuing students as pack

SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
A seminar was organized on 21st August, 2019 at Seminar Hall of SYP, Aurangabad on the above
mentioned topic. Session start with a Lamp lightening ceremony. Dr. Vibhashree didi is a renowned
motivational speaker and has delivered various inspirational lectures around the globe. She emphasized
on success mantras and inspired the students to value the presence of parents as well gurus in their
lives. More than 70 students actively participated in the motivational seminar.
OBJECTIVE:
1. To find out the various reasons for stress, its effects and ways to manage them.
2. To find out the need for motivation in organizations, various motivation techniques.

4. How to defeat Stress & Depression?
5. How to Build Confidence and Destroy Fear.
OUTCOME:
The ultimate goal of a motivational seminar was to change people profoundly on an emotional
and/or mental level. The speaker related his own personal experience to an audience, which means he
can come from any kind of background and use that information to inspire others. He interacted
students and asked their problems. He gave the solutions for those problems with his experience.

This visit is organized for the subject Thermal engineering (22337) of Second Year & Power Engineering
(22562) of Third year Diploma Mechanical Engineering students. The objective of visit is to learn the
various devices used in sugar factory such as Steam Boiler, Steam Turbine, Boiler mountings &
Accessories, Cooling tower etc. The student has visited and practically observed various components
used in sugar factory which are related to the above mentioned subjects.
OUTCOME: All students understand the working principle of Boiler, Turbine, Economizer, Air Preheated,
Super heater, Cooling Tower, Condenser & other devices used in sugar factory and also practically
observed all the devices.

SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The function was inaugurated by Principal Mrs. S M Shende, Mr. S D Bhopale (Vice Principal)
with Saraswati poojan. We celebrate Teachers’ day every year on 5th September. Students express their
gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli
Radhakrishnan – second President of India. The great academic philosopher and one of the most well
known diplomats, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher,
his birthday has been observed as teachers' day. A part of celebration students conducted various
lectures in all departments on 5th September 2019. The whole function was planned by Mr. Rudraksh
Jangle with co – coordinators Students. The programme was dotted with short speeches, poems and
shlokas. Mrs. S M Shende, Principal shared her thoughts on the occasion and exhorted the students to
excel in their chosen field of endeavor. All the teaching and non-teaching Staff were given gift and
sweets as a token of love and respect towards the teachers by our students.
OBJECTIVE:
1. To know the role of teachers in everyone’s life.
2. To honor teachers for their contribution in impacting knowledge among people in the society.
3. Teachers do a lot of hard work to mold students to become important people in society.
4. Teacher’s is important because it helps students and parents realize the crucial role of teachers
in the society.
5. Teachers play a role in our individual growth because they act as both our counselors and
mentors.
OUTCOME:
Teachers are great members of the society who play a critical role in the process of learning and
human development. They shape the present and the future lives of their students. They should,
therefore, be appreciated and celebrated. Overall, celebrating the teachers in India is not only a noble
thing to the college but to the entire nation. We have all been helped by teachers at some point in our
lives, and should support them every day of the year.

SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The tobacco epidemic is one of the biggest public health threats the world has ever faced. It kills
nearly six million people a year. Approximately one person dies every six seconds due to tobacco and
this accounts for one in 10 adult deaths. Prof. S M Shende (Principal) addressed students on this
occasion and also made them aware about the ill effect of tobacco on health and espacially its effect on
students who are the future of the nation. Over 200 students took the pledge on the occasion.
OBJECTIVE:
1. To prevent the use of tobacco among young people and adults.
2. To increase public awareness on the consequences of tobacco use.
3. To increase anti-tobacco policies and programmes in college.
4. To reduce access to tobacco products to minors.
5. To reduce access to tobacco products through illicit trade.
OUTCOME:
Our College students promise to not smoke or use any tobacco products now and forever. In
addition, they will always try to stay away from secondhand smoke, which is a danger to my health.
They will do my best to encourage people who do smoke or use tobacco product to quit smoking and
using tobacco products, and will do my best to support them as they try to quit.

ladder programs. Mr. Prakash Bagul explained concepts about relay coils, switches, timers, counters and
special instructions used for ladder program. Practical based programs are designed by students like
Logic gates, Traffic light, Conveyor belt motor control etc.

Shreeyash Polytechnic has conducted 02 days Induction programme during 09/08/2019 to 10/08/2019
for newly admitted first and direct second year students.
Day: I Friday 09/08/2019
Session: I
The function was inaugurated by Hon. Principal Mrs. S M Shende,Mr.S.D.Bhopale and Mr.Sandeep
Khandagale (HOD Applied Science) with Saraswati poojan. Mr. Sandeep Khandagale give brief
introduction of 2 days program. In the first session Principal Mrs. S M Shende put focus on scenario of
technical education-AICTE, DTE, MSBTE, types of institutions, resources available with the institution.
Afterwards Mr. S D Bhopale, HOD, Mechanical Department has given on various Engineering branches
available with the institution – Interlinking and Significance of branches.
Session: II
Mr. Salil Pendse, Motivational speaker, was invited to speak on Personality Development. He has
covered all aspects regarding personality development such as human values, creativity, gender equity,
communication skills, and importance of cleanliness, health, hygiene and safety.It was very interactive
session were students involve in the seminar.
Session: III
All students were attend the departmental presentation for third session. Third session included
implementation of “I” scheme and information to be given by respected HOD. All HODS’s given
information on “I” scheme such as Significance of outcome based education-
Program outcomes, course outcomes, program specific outcomes, micro project, industrial training and
concept of assessment and attainment, career opportunities after diploma education.
Day: II Saturday 10/08/2019
Session: I
Dr. Uttam Kalwane, Yoga guide, was invited to speak on Importance of Meditation and Yoga. The
function was started with Saraswati poojan by the auspicious hands of Dr. Uttam Kalwane, Mrs. S M
Shende. Dr. Uttam Kalwane has guided on importance of meditation and yoga with some
prcticals.Afterwards Mr. P A More, HOD, Computer Department, has taken lecture on effective use of
computer facilities and IT resources – use of NPTEL, SWAYAM, MOOC-spoken tutorial, and effective use
of social media.
Session: II
In the second session tree plantation programme has been organized in the campus. All students were
divided into various groups for tree plantation activity. Various trees were planted in the campus such as
banyan tree, peepal tree, tamarind tree etc.
Session: III
All students were sent to their respective departments for third session. Third session included
Interaction with Alumni. All respective departments arranged interaction of students with alumni’s.

Summary of the event:
The Event is arranged by, Students’ chapter, IE(I) Shreeyash Polytechnic, Aurangabad under
the guidance of Mr.D.S.Shilwant, Adviser ,Shreeyash polytechnic. Mrs Seema Shende, Principal
Shreeyash polytechnic prologued the event . In this event student from the college went to
different locality of the city like Gajanan Mandir, Hanuman Nagar, Jay Bhavani Nagar etc. to
motivate people to save electrical enegry. Students also distributed pamphlets among public they
came across & informed electrical safety. The rally was started early in the morning at 8.30 am
and ends at11.00 am.
After rally delivered informative speech to students as well as staff regarding. Prof .D .C.
Gaur motivated students. Certificates of participation & prizes of different competitions
organized by IE(I) have been distributed during the event.
