It gives me great pleasure to see SGRR (PG) college steadily
achieving greater heights. This has been possible largely due to the
dynamic leadership of Prof. V.A. Bourai, the college Principal. I
congratulate the entire staff of the college for scoring 'A' Grade in its
2nd cycle of Assessment and Accreditation in March 2016. It is also a
matter of great pride that the college has been selected for CPE
status, thus joining the league of those 56 colleges in the entire
country which have earned this distinction.
The college has always been reputed for its studies and its healthy
working environment. With the opening of Faculty of Agriculture,
Faculty of Education (B.Ed. and M.Ed.), P.G.D. in Mass
Communication (Since 2006) and Faculty of Commerce (Since
2008), the college has been making its mark in the field of
Professional Courses also. PG classes in Microbiology and
Biotechnology have produced excellent results.
The college is ideally situated and with its serene surroundings, it
provides the right ambience for the teaching and learning process to
continue undeterred. We endeavour to make our students
achievers in all fields. It is a matter of great satisfaction that they are
getting placement offers from prestigious organisations.
I wish the college to continue progressing by leaps and bounds.
