NEW WOMEN for NEW TOMORROW
Theme: “Empowered Policy – Empower Women”
Effectiveness of D & I Initiatives & regulatory changes to develop an effective eco system for growth, development of women. The current ML Act, tax rebates, crèche raises a question on the effectiveness of these initiatives as we are seeing a decline of women employees in the sme’s. What may be required is an eco-system involving family, friends & trained care givers.
Theme: “Influence of Social Structures in Women Higher Education”
Education has a direct impact on women empowerment as it instils in them awareness about their capabilities, interests, opportunities they have for themselves and most importantly their rights. Education of girls is not only important on grounds of social justice, but it is also the key to success in today’s VUCA world for human resource development. Women's development is a prerequisite for all round development of the society. There is a need to improve % of higher educated girls in the society and provide flexibility in the system of education, in which women could fulfil their aspirations, overcoming their socio-economic hindrances. This will help prepare them to face a world of opportunities and challenges.

NEW WOMEN for NEW TOMORROW
Theme: “Women Entrepreneurship: Renaissance- The Awakening”
The new era of women entrepreneurship will bring in multifold socio-economic and cultural shift in the country. We need to be prepared for the acceptance of this change. Foster an environment for promoting financial independence of women through entrepreneurship and support women who are already part of the movement.
Theme: Women Leadership – 50% movement
Research has proven that when more women are in leadership positions, diversity throughout organizations and communities improves, and overall results (including the GDP) improve significantly as well. Leadership doesn’t need to be a fiefdom of men. Countries like Iceland have shown that given the right environment, women can be great leaders as well. We need to undo centuries of bias, apathy, and conditioning for us to be able to deliver any significant breakthroughs.
