New overhaul kits are available for pre-stroke actuators for HD-TICSII and MD-TICS.The overhaul kits contain seal rings manufactured using fl uorine rubber.

1. OUTLINEThe new overhaul kits contain seal rings and gaskets for pre-stroke actuators for HD-TICSII and MD-TICS.The new seal rings are manufactured using fl uorine rubber instead of H-NBR to increase seal ring resistance to the hardening that occurs when some non-standard fuels are used. The new seal rings are now used on some injection pumps.

2. SEAL RING ASSEMBLYThe seal rings are equipped with ribs. The ribs prevent the seal rings from leaning over during assembly and also improve oil tightness.The ribs are positioned a little towards one edge of the seal ring.Assemble the seal rings with the ribs inside the housing's ring groove as shown in the fi gure below. (Oil will leak if installed upside down.)
