(Login) Learning Activities Welcome to the TM1 Online Training Program The Trainers Methodology Level I consists of competencies a TVET trainer performing functions of trainer and assessor must achieve. A TVET trainer is a person who enables a learner or a group of learners to develop competencies to perform a particular trade or technical work. This qualification consists of 6 core competencies clustered as follows: I. Deliver Competency-Based Training 1. Plan Training Sessions 2. Maintain Training Facilities 3. Facilitate Learning Sessions 4. Supervise Work-based Learning 5. Utilize Electronic Media in Facilitating Sessions II. Conduct Competency Assessment Learning Activities 1. Take the pre-test 2. Read the Competency-based Learning Materials 1. Start by reading the contents on the Information Sheets 2. Then answer self-checks 3. You may also use the interactive learning activity for each learning outcome by clicking on SCORM icons. These interactive online learning activities will help you learn how to make the required outputs of this course. 4. Perform Task Sheets in the CBLM. Your outputs from the task sheets are the requirements of each Competency. 5. Sample outputs are downloadable from the LMS. Just click on file icon on the LMS to download the sample outputs. 6. Upload your file to the LMS by clicking on upload icon. Your online mentor will be notified through e-mail when you upload any file. After evaluation, your mentor will send you back the file with his comments. Please check your personal e-mails regularly because the LMS will likewise send notification of any file uploaded to your account through the LMS. 1. You may also take practice tests on the LMS by clickin on the quiz icon. Your scores will be automatically recorded on the LMS data-base. Your mentor can track your progress through your test scores. You are allowed to take the self-checks three(3) times. Your highest score will be replace previous scores. You need to get at least 7 5% of the correct answers to pass the self-checks. 1. You may also interact with your online classmates and mentor live on the chatroom by clicking on the chatroom icon. Technical support will also be given through the chatroom. 2. Discussion forum is where you will discuss topics related to Competency-based training. Questions for discussion will be posted by the mentor for discussion and your answers will be the points for discusion. The T rainers Methodology Level I consists of competencies a TVET trainer performing functions of

Assessm ent

1 . Schedule y our institutional competency assessment with y our mentor. The computer-based test

will only be opened for y ou on agreed schedule upon completion of y our course output

requirements. Y ou need to get 60% of the correct answers to pass the computer-based test for the

competency .

2. Answer interv iew questions. Please be on webcam while taking this exam. The interv iew will

confirm y our competency on the 4 dimensions of competency .

Dem onstration

1 . A demonstration on how to facilitate learning sessions using electronic media and on how to

conduct competency assessment will be required after all of the above activ ities are complied

with.

Program Evaluation

*deadlines are suggested date of submission to guide y ou in budgetting y our training time. Training is

self-paced but particants need to finish the course within 6 weeks from the date of enrollment.

A Certificate of Achievement is awarded for every competency assessment passed by the participants. A

total of 6 certificates of achievement will be awarded each participant.

Competency-based Training requ ires al l participants to finish each competency assigned to them before going throu gh the lessons

of any other cou rse. To ensu re that no participants wi l l be able to finish the competency assigned to h im, he wi l l not be enrol led to

the next competency u nless he gets h is Ceti ficate of A chievement.
