  Summit Interior Design WLL (SID) is a registered Interior Design company in The Kingdom of Bahrain providing architectural interior design consultancy, construction documentation services and procurement.

  Our goal at SID is to create great interior spaces that skilfully respond to the project brief, that are elegantly detailed, and visibly illustrate the values of the clients personality & branding.

SID was established with a sole need to offer a standard of international design locally, and since then we have partnered with established clients to deliver a growing and impressive portfolio of projects that include 5 star Hospitality, Residential and Workplace. Our studio has brought together an experienced and dynamic team to offer our clients a holistic approach to design services that include furnishing and materials procurement. Our design ethos is to approach every project by making the most of the unique qualities within each.

We are also proud of our USGBC LEED credentials and do our best to employ ‘Green” ethics into our work. Our LEED qualifications give testament to an awareness of sustainable design and the importance of understanding new developments in the built environment.

With 15 years experience as a qualified interior architect, and having worked for a number of high ranking UK interior design practices, Sue relocated to Bahrain in 2006 to join an International firm as hospitality Design Director. Key hospitality clients have included IHG, Marriot, Jumeirah, Kempinski and Accor for regional and international projects. Her experience also spans workplace design particularly in banking. Sue teamed with partners to establish SID– Summit Interior Design in early 2012 to depart corporate design management and focus her skills on a creative level. Her partners John Docherty and Paul Henson have over 20 years experience in product sales, procurement and logistics, providing an excellent foundation to offer clients a professional FF&E procurement service.

Completion Oct 2014 Details: Our brief was to ‘bring the outside in’. The goal was to deliver interior spaces with

an imaginative concept that could be threaded throughout the hotel. Inspiration from nature is evident in the guest rooms, lobby, banqueting and public areas.

Details: A new sea front family hotel aimed at Saudi families and corporate clientele, this new ‘dry ‘ hotel opposite the

City Centre main shopping mall. Our brief was to develop a concept that was contemporary with a hint of Arabic influence that would pave the way for a new breed of Ramada Hotel for Wyndam in the region. Construction is underway and due for completion 2015.

quality assurance The SID Quality Management System complies with ISO 9001 and will be accredited by certification services in 2015. We are currently developing the SID Quality Management System, in-house training sessions for staff and universal Server System. The Quality Management System will provide guidance and instruction to all staff in the process and procedure to be adopted while carrying out their work. SID aims to: •  Be client focused, and deliver the highest achievable level of professional service. •  Continuously improve its design product by engaging in a rigorous design process. •  Build effective relationships with employees, clients, consultants and contractors. •  Satisfy the professional development needs of our staff. •  Produce well-detailed, clear and concise documentation. •  Where so engaged, to administer contracts thoroughly and effectively •  Have sound financial management and maintain a continuously profitable business •  Maintain a high standard of focused deliverables on time to our Clients.

The Quality Management System requires the preparation of specific project plans to ensure that the process is planned to deliver a quality product. SID has also developed SID data, which is an in-house database for systematic document control. Our quality system has proven successful in the delivery of SID design projects on time and on budget.

Rib Room and Agency Bar, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai While Design Director at dwp The concept was inspired by biig city business, this was achieved by selecting Manhattan inspired over sized imagery with a vintage edge so the restaurant had a modern but timeless quality.

Status: Providers of natural gas in the middle east, the client required a new central ffice specifically to receive clients and guests. Their requirement was for a contemporary office with intelligent board room facilities that would project the image of a modern, progressive company.

Client: Simba Colt Ltd.

A Show Gallery which included a 4 bedroom mock up apartment. The gallery and show apartment were completely furnished along with accessories.

The design style implemented for the showroom was contemporary, rich, but subtle, to be appreciated by the target audience. Materials were selected that were local to the region.
