General Information• In the idol,a snake appears on the left shoulder to right side belly. On the

forehead of the idol consists an eye that looks similar to that of lord Shiva . On either sides of the Lord Ganesh idol, each Riddhi and Siddhi goddesses who appears like peeping out of the Ganesh idol from behind are placed. Because of these, the temple is known as the Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple. These goddesses recembles sanctity, success, wealth and prosperity.There was a rest house, and a pair of beautiful stone masonry Deepmalas. After the year 1975, the number of devotees visiting the temple started increasing day-by-day and it resulted in difficulty to enter the temple and have the Darshan. Also the Siddhivinayak temple receives donations of around Rs. 100-150 million every year.

• From the Airport, it tooks 60 to 90 minute to reach the temple.

The nearest railway station is Dadar Suburban Railway. From Dadar railway station it is a 10-minute ride by taxi and most of the taxi drivers are familiar with the route. For those who tooks the bus, there is a 15 minutes ride.
