• As of 18.5, Siebel CRM supports native clustering of Siebel Gateway service and Apache ZooKeeper registry.

• Eliminates single point of failure introduced with new architecture

Gateway Cluster Operations

• AI and Siebel Server can make requests to any of the nodes in the Gateway Service Cluster (round-robin)

• Gateway service can make requests to any of the nodes in the Registry Cluster

• If a node fails, connections are made to the remaining nodes.

– Gateway Service: 1 node needs to remain up

– Registry: majority (e.g. 2 of 3) of nodes needs to remain up

• If a node (re)starts it joins the cluster.
