SIEM REAP is the gateway to the ancient Angkor City and is listed as a UNESCO Heritage Site and the biggest a�rac�on in Cambodia. Tourist arrivals jumped 12.7% in the first 6 months of 2018, reaching over 3 million. The country is on course to hit its target of 7 million tourists in 2018 as the peak season is from October to December. The Siem Reap Airport is the busiest in Cambodia and it welcomed over 1 million arrivals during the same period.
More importantly, Siem Reap has the highest number of 4-5 Star hotels in the country. In all, there are over 750 hotels listed in Siem Reap province and the number is expected to increase to meet the increasing tourist arrivals. At the same �me, the number of restaurants and F&B outlets has also seen a significant increase and reached 1,200 restaurants in 2018.
