Removing an MBlock holdAn MBlock hold is placed on a patron’s record when he/she accrues $10 or more in fines. This hold is represented as a SIS Block.

An MBlock should be removed when a patron pays his/her fine (either all of it or a portion to reduce it to under $10).

To remove a SIS block:

1. Scan patron’s Bearcard2. 2. Click on edit to access

complete patron record

3. 3. Locate Mblock field and double click on SIS Block. Select Default and OK.

4. 4. Save record and close
