Aggregate Screen Shakers

Screen size range from 4" to No. 200. Grades bulk samples up to 1 cu. ft. (0.03 m3) in minutes. Independently removable screen trays.

The Aggregate Screen Shaker is designed for sizing test samples of crushed stone,sand, gravel, slag, coal, ores, and other similar materials.The shaker will receive andgrade up to 1 cu.ft. (0.03 m3) of bulk materials in one operation.

The unit is designed primarily for sizing in the range of 4" down to a #4 screensize, and with smaller amounts of finer materials down to a #200.

The standard series shaker utilizes a manually-operated, threaded clamping rodarrangement to hold the screen trays during operation.The other series features ahydraulic pump clamping system for quick clamping and release of trays in just afew motions.

Both versions are supplied complete with five coarse series screen trays and adustpan tray.

Portable Sieve Shakers

Ideally suited for either laboratory or field use. Hand-operated version for use where electrical power is not

available. Inexpensive, yet efficient design for accurate separation of

Portable Sieve Shakers are available in either hand-operated or motorizedversions.They utilize a horizontal and vertical motion along with a tapping action.Spring loaded tie rods allow vertical motion.The shaker imparts a tap to the sievesat each change in direction as the sieve holders move from side to side. Inaddition, during each tap an upward jolt takes place. Proper separation of allmaterials takes place with the tapping action, allowing the materials to movequickly through the sieve meshes. Wet Washing Sieves

ASTM E-11. Stainless mesh standard on all 8" (203 mm) diameter models. Optional models available with stainless steel back-up mesh.

Wet Washing Sieves are designed for wet testing of soils, cement, and other finematerials.

In the wet washing process, fines are washed through the sieve without loss of anyportion of the sample. In most applications, the water is sprayed into the sieve fora set time and under a specified pressure. After the fines have been washed

through, the residue which remains in the sieve is dried in the sieve prior to theweighing operation.

Large Capacity Sample Splitter

Adjustable chute widths. Lever-actuated, clamshell type hopper. Chute attachment for direct loading of one half of final

sample into container or bag.

The Large Capacity Sample Splitter is designed for samples too large in volume forconvenient handling.This heavy-gage welded steel splitter divides samples so thathalf is representative of the original sample. It handles any material from sand sizesup to 4" (102 mm).The lever-actuated hopper holds up to 1 cu. ft. (0.028 m3) ofmaterial.

The universal chute section design consists of a set of aluminum bars that pivot ona rod at their lower ends.The top ends of the bars are flipped to alternate sides toform the desired chute width. Each chute bar is 1/2" (13 mm) wide so that adjust-ment is provided for any increment of 1/2" which will divide into the total 24"(610 mm) chute width an even number of times. Chute widths of 1/2", 1", 1-1/2",2", 3", 4", or 6" may be selected by proper positioning of the bars.
