Before Save Indian Family…

March 10, 2005 “Save Indian Family” movement is born with the formation of “saveindianfamily” yahoo group

Only organisation running nationwide Volunteer based Helpline for men..today we have helplines in 35+ cites

Challenges

• SIF is a free model (No fees for counseling, guidance)……lot of pressure from select groups to convert into paid model

• Sustaining local meetings

• Only people falsely implicated by gender bias laws are our sympathizers….General society not empathetic to us

• Shelf life of an activist is till the time his case is on

• Corporate/Govt Funding for the cause is still a challenge
