Directions:

You may use a CD player, DVD player, computer or MP3 player for this activity.

Look at the number on the left hand side under “track #.” This number matches the track number on your audio player.

When your child practices this activity, make sure that the track number on the worksheet they are practicing matches the

track number on your audio player.

You will see different pictures that mean different things. These are visual guides to help your child with this activity.

means that your child should look at the letter or picture and listen to the voice on the CD only.

means your child should trace the letter with his or her finger and say the letter.

means that your child should listen to the word and trace the letters with his finger as he listens.

means that your child should listen to the word and write the word with a dry erase marker.

means that your child should read the word at the same time as the voice on the CD.

means that your child will stop to check and listen to see if they read the word correctly

Once a line is completed, your child will move on to the next track on the CD. There are 64 tracks on this activity. Each

track contains a different sight word that your child is learning or reviewing. Please sit with your child and guide them

through this practice exercise.

Make sure that as your child practices this activity, that the track number on the worksheet matches the track number on

your audio player. Your child should practice this activity from left to right straight across the paper moving from box to

box. The voice on the CD will be your guide.

Tracks 2 through 61 are sight words to learn and practice

Tracks 62, 63 and 64 are review. Each review activity is harder than the prior one.

Track 62 – Your child will listen to the word first and then read the word.

Track 63 – Your child will read the words at the same time as the voice on the CD.

Track 64 – The voice on the CD will prompt your child to start reading. Your child will read the word alone. Then, the

voice will help your child to see if they read the word correctly.

Please note that track 64 moves quickly through the words without slowing down.
