Turbocharger/CAC hose

Appl icat ion

Designed for turbocharged

and charge air cooler systems

in applications such as

compressor outlets, air inlets

and intercooler connections.

Silflex turbocharger and CAC

hose is manufactured in silicone

with a Nomex* reinforcement

fabric as standard.

For more demanding

requirements construction can

incorporate wire reinforcing and

convolutions, offering greater

resistance to profile change and

improved flexibility respectively.

A variety of reducer hoses are

available offering a smoother

transition between bore sizes.

High performance silicone

turbocharger and CAC hose for

truck, bus and rail engines is

reinforced with Nomex* to

provide ideal solutions for high

pressure and temperature

resistance.

Convoluted hose is produced

to suit most power unit

applications. Single or multiple

convolution variants can be

supplied to order, providing

increased flexibility and the

ability to absorb greater levels

of engine vibration.

Fluorosilicone linings are

available for oil or fuel

conveying applications. Linings

are the cost effective alternative

to total fluorosilicone hose.

Coolant hose

range from -50oC to a

maximum of 180oC.

Silicone Polyester hose

This standard 3 ply reinforced

polyester silicone composite is

available to a variable

specification to suit individual

cooling system applications.

Reducers and couplers

To reduce the effects of

turbulent coolant flow and

maintain efficient flow rates

within the system, Silflex

provides a wide range of

reducers to enable a smooth

transition between various

component and pipe bore sizes.

Silflex coolant hose couplers

enable the connection of rigid

pipework to help eliminate

vibration, increase flexibility and

allow easier assembly and

maintenance.

Straight hose is available with

wire reinforcement,

convolutions and castellation

to avoid kinking due to angles or

movement, and can also be

manufactured in special materials

or formulations.

A high sheen finish is standard,

with other options available.
