DESCRIPTION: Simnovate began in May 2015 with the creation of four domain groups in the following areas: patient safety, medical technologies, pervasive learning, and global health. Since that time, each group has been engaging in monthly discussions and now, one year later, each domain group co-chair will summarize the dialogue, thoughts and considerations of these discussions and share their thoughts on how they might influence the future of health care.

DESCRIPTION: Each domain group is comprised of an interdisciplinary consortium of experts with an interest in health care who wish to look outside the traditional realms of improvement to determine future directions and zones of importance. With this goal, each domain group has defined a framework in which simulation can be used to bring about change in each respective area. These workshops have been designed to share this framework and discuss the challenges and opportunities with respect to the use of simulation within each domain.

At stake is a $10,000 advance to put their plans in motion!
