I am an experienced and effective Operations Readiness manager that can join any team at any stage of the project, and implement or update an Ops Readiness process and team to ensure that the project will be ready to transition in to commissioning, start up, and operations.
I am a skilled manager and problem solver who can develop new, or improve existing, Ops Readiness teams and processes with strategic plans and focussed solutions, resulting in improved performance and collaboration, and removing unnecessary work to meet new targets/goals.
I have significant marine expertise that can improve all aspects of marine operations, including FPSO operations, and logistics infrastructure support for operating assets and project delivery.
I am a skilled leader of teams with a track record of collaborating and managing multi-discipline, multi-cultural, and globally located teams. This is essential when delivering in a dynamic and complex project environment.
I can provide Operations Readiness process analysis, including performance improvement / optimization, inefficiency reduction, and communication improvement with results that will include:− CAPEX reduction of Ops Readiness expenditure− OPEX reduction throughout FPSO design life− improved HSSE non-compliances over project life− Improvement of operation readiness process performance against plan.− Successful development and deployment of customized Ops Readiness process, with template that can be utilized by all future upstream projects.− reduced findings in all decision gate audits and group internal audits.
I have achieved these skills and abilities with 25 years of experience in the oil and Gas industry, with the last 10 years spent leading Ops Readiness teams on Major FPSO projects. I have successfully delivered start up readiness on the Seaeagle FPSO in Nigeria 6 months ahead of schedule, and more recently the Turritella FPSO in the Gulf of Mexico.
