Challenge
The Mediation Specialists is a leading firm of lawyer mediators in family, workplace and commercial mediation.
Using the implementation of the Children and Families Act 2014, which included the introduction of compulsory Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings (a significant change in divorce proceedings), we presented The Mediation Specialists as expert commentators of on the implications of the change in the law and on its impact on couples seeking divorce.
Results
Results
As part of the package we created for broadcasters we sourced a recently divorced couple with direct experience of mediation.
The Mediation Specialists also shared air time and post interview discussion time with Minister of State, for Justice and Civil Liberties, Simon Hughes.
Broadcast exposure:• ITV Daybreak: Two live interviews with The Mediation Specialist and news packages on all main
bulletins through out the morning.
• ITV News: Recorded interviews with case study as part of news package broadcast throughout the day.
• Channel 5 News: Recorded interviews with case study as part of news package broadcast on main evening news.
• Radio 5 Live: Recorded interview used in main feature on 5 Live breakfast and in news bulletins throughout the day.
• Radio 2: Recorded interview used in news bulletins throughout the day.
• Radio 4: Live interview on The Today Show (prior to change in the law).
